Breeders Cup 2011 Tips And Odds Proving Popular On OLBG
Friday 04 November 2011 at 09:56
The Breeders Cup is almost upon us and the flat racing fans on OLBG are getting their final fix of racing on the level before jumps racing and Cheltenham talk takes over for the next six months. With Europe’s top horses heading to Churchill Downs in Kentucky there is plenty of interest on both sides of the Atlantic.
European Interest In The Classic This Year
The Breeders Cup Classic is often the most anticipated race from the Breeders Cup and this year’s favourite is Uncle Mo at 4/1 with Stan James but his wide draw has put many off his chances. That could be the reason he has attracted just 15.4% of tips on OLBG but The Executioner hasn’t been put off his chances:
“I think Uncle Mo will run a huge race in the Classic. In the 11 runnings since the year 2000 four winners have came from a double digit stall.”
The most popular tip for the Breeders Cup Classic has been Aidan O’Brien’s So You Think, winner of three UK Group One’s this season, 46.2% of the OLBG Tipsters have currently gone for So You Think who is the third favourite at 5/1 with Ladbrokes.
Goldikova Going For Unprecedented Fourth Win
There will be plenty of interest in the Breeders Cup Mile once again with French runner Goldikova going for an amazing fourth straight victory in the race, unsurprisingly Goldikova has been amazingly popular on OLBG with over 76% of tipsters backing the mare. Next best in the race is wide drawn Richard Hannon runner Strong Suit, just 14.3% of tipsters have backed him at 5/1 with Sportingbet. Another race dominated by European runners is the Breeders Cup Turf, the French are favourites to land this one too with Sarafina heading the betting at 11/4 with Blue Square, the Sir Michael Stoute trained Sea Moon is next best at 4/1 with SkyBet whilst brilliant mare Midday could be overpriced at 11/2 with Sportingbet, Midday won at the Breeders Cup in 2009 and came second last year.
