X Factor 2011 Odds Have New Favourite To Replace Janet Devlin
Monday 07 November 2011 at 10:33
X Factor 2011 continues to provide plenty of lively debate on the OLBG Forum and after the latest shocks on results night many of OLBG’s tipsters were quite annoyed with what transpired although one tipster called this weekend’s events very well.
Marcus Collins Now The Most Likely Winner
To many the elimination of The Risk was a huge surprise, they had previously been one of the favourites to win this year’s show. OLBG tipster Liverpool1985 wasn’t sad to see them go though, he had not only tipped Johnny Robinson to be the ninth eviction 5/2 but he also tipped up The Risk to be in the bottom three at 27/10. Liverpool1985 has also recently backed Marcus Collins to go all the way with the view that he hasn’t seen in the bottom two yet (only four acts can boast that), performs very well each week and seems more likeable than most the other acts. After the latest round of performances at the weekend during ‘Club Classics’ week Marcus Collins has been promoted to favouritism by the X Factor odds compilers, the 40/1 shot just three weeks ago is now deemed the most likely winners and he can be backed at 13/5 with Blue Square.
Frankie And Kitty Favourites To Go This Week
Janet Devlin, who had been the favourite to go all the way throughout the live shows, has now been relegated to second favouritism and is available at 7/2 with Paddy Power but many OLBG tipsters still fail to see the appeal of Janet Devlin. Craig Colton is available at 4/1 with several bookies which makes him the overall third favourite (although many bookies make him joint second favourite), that gives mentor Gary Barlow a strong hand on his first X Factor and the Take That star is now 10/11 with SkyBet to be the winning manager and that looks a good bet.
Misha B is 5/1 with Bet365 but no previous X Factor winner has ever been in the bottom two before so despite being one of the biggest talents this year it seems she has failed the popularity test. If there is currently an overpriced act it could be Little Mix, they are clearly being supported by show producers with late slots each week (late slots are favoured as they tend to attract more votes) and 7/1 with Ladbrokes could look big in a couple of weeks. That leaves Kitty and Frankie as the least popular acts, Frankie is favourite to go this week at evens with Bet365, ahead of Kitty at 5/2 with Bet365. Given that Frankie wasn’t even in the bottom three over the weekend Kitty could prove the better bet.
