Amelia Lily Odds On To Replace Frankie Cocozza On X Factor
Thursday 10 November 2011 at 10:00
The X Factor bosses have decided how they will replace Frankie Cocozza on X Factor after he was booted off this year’s show. This weekend the four acts eliminated on the first live show will have an opportunity to make a comeback with the public voting one of them back so despite losing one of his acts, Gary Barlow could now see one of his rival judges given an extra opportunity to win.
Amelia Lily Still Popular With Fans
Amelia Lily is the hot favourite to be the viewers’ favourite, she looked extremely unlucky to be voted off by her own mentor Kelly Rowland in the first show as she was one of the favourites to win X Factor 2011. Amelia Lily is just 1/5 with Bet365 to win this weekend’s vote and currently on an unofficial poll on UnrealityTV.co.uk she is leading with almost 60% of the vote so it looks as though she will be successful and the odds on her winning of 13/2 with Paddy Power look a bit generous considering how average many of the contestants are this year. OLBG tipster chimpanuzi 9mm also thinks Amelia Lily will be the one brought back and reflects on a missed opportunity to back her at a huge price:
“At this stage they can only really reinstate Amelia Lily to stir things up. Pointless putting the others in as it will just add to the blandness.
Amelia has still been appearing in the win market on Betfair during the series - trading at 500s or thereabouts. Damn.”
James Michael Could Come Back But Winning Is Unlikely
James Michael is the clear second favourite at 7/1 with SkyBet to return (he is just 4/1 with Betfred), these odds are reflected in the online poll with almost 27% voting him their favourite to come back to the show. Even if he does come back his chances of winning seem slim, Bet365 currently offer 66/1 on him going all the way. That leaves 2Shoes and Jonjo Kerr (remember them?) and both have received less than 10% of the votes in the online poll, Ladbrokes have 2Shoes at 20/1 to return whilst Jonjo Kerr, one of Louis’ acts, is 33/1 with SkyBet. It seems that Amelia Lily is the only realistic winner from these contenders and with no clear X Factor favourite (Marcus Collings is 3/1 with Betfred and Janet Devlin is 7/2 with Bet365) she could still have a great chance, although this is a popularity contest and she may not have enough time to get her personality across.
