Amelia Lily The New X Factor Favourite As Janet Popularity Dives
Monday 14 November 2011 at 11:16
Amelia Lily was the act voted back into X Factor at the weekend and amazingly she has shot straight to favouritism in what is without a doubt the most open X Factor competition ever. Whilst Amelia Lily was the big success story this weekend it seems the big loser of the weekend was Janet Devlin who has dropped from the favourite to win X Factor to what is now the fourth favourite to win. The tipsters on the OLBG forum are split in their opinions about who will win X Factor 2011.
Amelia Lily And Marcus Collins Are Most Likely Winners
Amelia Lily was available at 13/2 to win X Factor late last week before she was even voted back into the show and after being confirmed an X Factor act once again and after a great return performance on Saturday night she was made the favourite to win X Factor at just 10/3 with Boylesports. Warren Hill thought that Amelia’s was the best performance of the night “by a mile” whilst robotrax had a completely different view “She had her place in the show which was 12-16th. She is not very good and i hope she goes soon.”
Amelia replaces Marcus Collins as the favourite to win X Factor, Marcus is now 7/2 with Ladbrokes to go all the way but Each-Way Queen doesn’t think Marcus can win “Marcus was pretty dull this week and I think the current 3/1 with some bookies is way off” Each-Way Queen is also sceptical about Janet Devlin’s chances, Janet Devlin is now the 5/1 fourth favourite with Victor Chandler and this sort of attitude towards her shows why her odds are drifting “Janet is just boring now and perhaps she isn't getting worse, we're just used to her now and she hasn't got anything to pull out the bag.” It seems even the Janet fans such as overthefence are deserting her “I am a big fan of Janet but agree she has become very one dimensional and is at a cross roads are could well be in the bottom 2 this week.”
Misha B The Favourite To Be Next Act Eliminated
Craig Colton is just ahead of Janet Devlin in the betting, he is 9/2 with Bet365 and no one on the OLBG forum seems to dispute his talent, he is a good singer, but it seems no one is passionate about his chances and that is why he looks unlikely to get the extra support required to win X Factor. Little Mix are on the move after avoiding the bottom two yet again, they are the most successful girl group on X Factor to date and they are performing very well. It would be no surprise to see them handed a recording contract after this experience even if they don’t win but they are 7/1 with SkyBet if you think they can win.
That leaves Misha B who was in the bottom two for the second time on Sunday, she is the only remaining act to have bottom two experience which shows she is clearly the least popular act with the viewing and voting public. That is why she is the complete outsider to win now at 12/1 with Bet365 despite her considerable talent. OLBG tipsters clearly think she is being given every chance by producers to stay in as she often gets a late slot but Liverpool1985 clearly thinks she won’t get the votes “Misha Bryan still needs the votes. Yet another late slot. Act of desperation. Has got a good voice but wheres the fan base? Has previously been in the Bottom Two and while she has been safe since she doesn’t seem to have as many loyal followers as other acts do.” Misha B is the favourite to be eliminated next at 7/4 with Bet365 but will the judges choose to save her?
