Marcus Collins And Little Mix Favourites As Only Five Remain In X Factor
Monday 21 November 2011 at 10:54
There are only five remaining acts left in X Factor 2011 and this weekend they will battle it out for a place in the semi finals. This year remains the most open X Factor ever with all the acts relatively competitive but after the latest round of performances it is Marcus Collins and Little Mix who head the betting.
Misha B Survives Another Week But Annoys Tipsters
On the OLBG forum Liverpool1985 was once again in excellent form tipping Craig and Amelia to be in the bottom two at 4/1 whilst Warren Hill went for Misha B to be announced safe first at a very tasty 6/1. There has been plenty of discussion about Misha B who is now the 11/1 outsider with SkyBet despite avoiding the bottom two at the weekend with robotrax saying this about her sob story:
“It was shameful exploitation of yes a sad situation but the words that were used "forgive people and move on" and "i'm not in her position so cant judge"
were obviously meant for viewers to relate that to Misha's bullying past.”
Janet meanwhile looks back in the hunt after returning to form, she is down to 4/1 with Bet365 and king pete was one of those who enjoyed her performance:
“Janet - Brilliant performance, good song and finally looked like she enjoyed it. Confidence will be boosted by this week.”
Marcus Collins Slightly Ahead Of Little Mix
Marcus Collins is still the one to beat according to the bookies after a decent performance at the weekend, he was 40/1 around a month ago but has improved rapidly and is now the 2/1 favourite with Blue Square to take this year’s X Factor and he is clearly very popular. Little Mix have been on the rise recently, for many weeks not many people seemed to give them a chance of winning but they are proving very strong and are still yet to be in the bottom two, they are clear contenders and have a great chance of reaching the final, Little Mix are 5/2 with Boylesports. Amelia Lily’s odds have been on the drift since being in the bottom two on Sunday, she is 8/1 with Boylesports and no act has ever been in the bottom two and gone on to win, but her circumstances have been different this year with coming back into the competition last week and she shouldn’t yet be completely ruled out. Next week the acts sing two songs each so she will certainly have enough opportunity to shine.
