American Idol Betting Odds Now Have Phillip Phillips Favourite Over Jessica Sanchez

 American Idol 2012 continues to throw up some shocks but something that certainly isn’t shocking is that Phillip Phillips is the new favourite in the American Idol 2012 Betting Odds. Meanwhile one of the contenders who was in the top three in the betting just a couple of weeks ago is now expected to be eliminated in the next couple of weeks.
Phillip Phillips And Jessica Sanchez Set To Dominate This Year
Phillips Phillips continues to look every inch the American Idol 2012 winner so it is no surprise that he has been promoted to favouritism recently. The last four winners of American Idol have been male and the voters seem to go for the genuine artists over perhaps the more pop suited diva singers. Everything looks in Phillip Phillips’ favour this year and he receives amazing praise from everyone he comes into contact with so the odds of 2/1 with SkyBet should still offer some value at this stage. Next best is sixteen year old Jessica Sanchez who has an absolutely amazing voice but it seems singers like her struggle to win American Idol these days. Perhaps she should have held out for X Factor USA which might have given her a better chance of victory. Either way she looks booked in for second at 9/4 with Ladbrokes and she definitely has a huge future ahead of her.
Huge Drop In Popularity For Hollie Cavanagh
Colton Dixon has become a live contender in recent weeks with a series of surprisingly good performances. He is now the only other act with single figure odds at 4/1 with Ladbrokes but he doesn’t look in the class of the first two and he is probably only in with a shout of third at best. Even third spot isn’t guaranteed with the likes of Joshua Ledet who is 11/1 with SkyBet, Elise Testone who can be backed at 12/1 with SkyBet and Ladbrokes and also Skylar Laine who is 14/1 with SkyBet and Ladbrokes. After that we have Hollie Cavanagh who despite being the third favourite to win just a couple of weeks ago is now 20/1 to win with SkyBet after struggling a little in recent weeks. She still has plenty of ability though and perhaps a good performance next week will see her odds fall again so she could be worth backing at 20/1 as there is still plenty of potential for her odds to fall. That leaves DeAndre Brackensick a massive outsider at 66/1 with Ladbrokes and he looks almost certain to be eliminated next.
