Good work BK.
There's going to be countless posts and predictions on the results of the last round of group matches based on who needs what to get through. Important facts like these is what separates us from the mug punter (hopefully!) _________________ Steve |

I would like some advice my fellow friends, before the start of the WC I placed a groups acca, a bit optimistic but it's looking half decent at the moment...
A / Uruguay
100/30 -> 2/7
B / Argentina
4/11 -> 1/41
C / England
3/10 -> 4/7
D / Germany
5/6 -> 2/7
E / Holland
4/7 -> 1/7
F / Italy
4/9 -> 4/6
G / Brazil
4/7 -> 4/9
H / Spain
3/10 -> 9/4
...I know it's a ridiculous bet and was just a bit of fun/interest during the first stage. Anyway what would everyone suggest I do now? The acca pays at around 64/1, and have it for medium stakes. The one that is looking to let me down so far is Spain, but I think i'm happy to take my chances. Uruguay obviously the money maker looking a treat but if Mexico win that game then i'm stuffed. What would everyone else do here? _________________ brewsty39 |

As i write this Germany are currently losing to Serbia, 55mins in.
So Group C qualification now looking more dodgy for Ghana, who were virtually through if Serbia lost today. Assuming all 3 teams beat Australia then if Germany beat Ghana it's 2 from 3 purely settled on goal difference. Which makes Bet365 current odds (1.45pm Fri 18th) of Ghana Not to Qualify @ 2.62 look a good bet. I'm waiting to see if Ger lose, as soon as i hear final whistle i'm on. _________________ Steve |

Even as recently as a couple of days ago Betfairs 'African Progress' market (any african team to make Last16) had "No" at 12s. A lack of liquidity at the mo but its still somewhere around 4.5 now.
South Africa need to thrash France or Ghana need Aussies to beat Serbia, or a better goal difference than Serbia if Aussies manage a draw. So basically its looking all down to Ivory Coast to maintain an African presence in Last16. Ghana and Cameroon looked like they had the ability to get through but have not played to thier potential, the rest were rubbish though. _________________ Steve |

I'm sure there will be some huge casualties from this market and accas made up from some of the favourite teams therein. its happens time and time again and is so difficult to predict. Even playing this market with singles is treacherous., I hope some have come out in front, _________________ It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed. |
