Hi members
I would like to get some feedback on the group qualifiers and would welcome fellow members opinions. Every Big tournament I do an accumalator bet on the winners of each group. I have had great fun following games that wouldn't normally mean anything in the hope the results go your way. I have a few touches over the years but the one that sticks in the mind is when the French blew their group to Switzerland. I had ticked off all the other group winners only for Switzerland to nick a late win against South Korea whilst, France were easily winning their game. Even England won their group! I recall the Koreans having an equaliser ruled out which could have saved the French's bacon. It went right down to the final game, oh so close! As for pure entertainment the bet keeps you interested in the 1st 2 weeks and the emotional ups & downs are what punting is all about. I notice France are the only favourites who are odds against and look dodgy again, but am prepared to forgive them for past discretions and include them if they can see off main dangers Uruguay in their first game they can surely win the group. France, Argentina,England,Germany,Holland,Italy,Brazil & Spain pays about 40-1.
I know there is going to be upsets along the way but think they can all pull it off. Heres hoping and enjoy the ride.
