THANKS TO OLBG, FROM NOW ON THE WINNER OF THE MONTHLY LEADERBOARD WILL RECIEVE FREE ENTRY INTO THE BIG MONEY TOURNAMENT ON Ladbrokes POKER, THE BUYIN IS WORTH $100!

NEW RULE: In order to play the OLBG Monday Night Poker tournaments, you must first be a registered OLBG member, you are not allowed to join the tournaments until you are a registered member of OLBG. Anyone found to be listed as registered for the current tournament without having registered with OLBG first will be removed from the tournament immediately

Distribution of the password to non OLBG members is not allowed and will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

TO ALL 1ST TIME PLAYERS:

I must demand that you post your Ladbrokes Poker username on the latest thread in the OLBG Poker Nights Forum before buying into your first tournament.

I cannot stress this enough. Failure to comply with this reasonable request will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

Hello, to the OLBG community. Well done to Rik_2502, our new champion who took home $75, 2nd place went to Garybaker recieving $45 and 3rd place went to Gutshot paying $30.

Buy in: $10 +10c
Prize Pool: Increases as people join

PRIZE PAYOUT:
This is determined by how many people enter:

1-30 people = 1st-3rd share money
31-50 people = 1st-5th
51-150 people = 1st-10th
151-200 people = 1st-20th

HOW DO I JOIN?:

To join in you must first have a real money Ladbrokes Poker account. It's very easy to set up:

Just click here - Ladbrokes Poker
Click the "Poker" button and then click on the "Download Now" button
Once Downloaded, double click the "Setup_Poker.exe" file and follow the on screen instructions
The rest is straight forward.
(Have credit/debit card details ready)

WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT?:

Once logged into Ladbrokes Poker, simply click the "PRIVATE" tab, then select "Multi Table Tournaments" and look for the table named "OLBG Monday Night Poker", you will need $5.50 to enter.

CAN WE HELP?

All I would ask:

Once you buy in, post a reply on this thread stating your Ladbrokes Poker name.
I will collect them up, and add them to the "OLBG List of Players" thread.

Yet again 1.5 tables of 10 superheroes turned up for the main event, we saw plenty of action both on and off the poker table this week, the Premier League kicked off on Monday and was stopped in its' tracks a few days later when it was found that laylaylay had already been banned from OLBG under different usernames. We are still looking for someone to take over his role of doing writeups, creating the tournaments and updating the leaderboard; I'm willing to help anyone who undertakes this role for the next 12 weeks. Calling all superheroes...

Congrats to Rik for winning last nights main event and getting himself on the 2009 leaderboard with the style and grace of a swan with a fish fetish, he put in a number of useful performances at the backend of last year and it looks like he's carrying on where he left off, his win puts him 4 points behind Gutshot on the all time leaderboard, it looks like these 2 could have a ding dong battle all year long to push themselves further away from TheVatman and closer to yours truly. Nevertheless, this was a classic Rik display and it will take a bold performance to outpunch this heavyweight when he next steps into the ring. Qulity play Rik Cool

First of all good to be back gents. Thanks for the kind words woods.

I took January off completely never flipped a playing card (real or virtual) after playing a lot in 2008. Probably blame xbox live and guitar hero but never felt the urge to come back to the felt for a month at least.
I would recommend if you're beginning to bore of online poker ( Shocked

yup i said it on this forum) take a month off, without even thinking about cards, and you'll come back fresh and ready to start shipping the chips.

Anyways jibberish spouted look forward to getting back into the groove with you guys. I'll be playing as much as possible however during term time can only play the occasional Thursday but I'll do my best got gutshot to contend with!!
