should be quite a while after tea really. they are bowling just over 13 overs per hour. currently have 20 overs bowled. so need 60 more. so about 4 and a half hours from now (1130). so about 5pm. they can speed up though obviously if they get stuck in the mud. you are right that the new ball would likely finish the lower order off anyway. i would be surprised if they are still in the game at that stage though as they are playing a few shots so likely to slip up. _________________ Positions are available in the OLBG Lottery syndicate. bairstow again comes in and has solid innings, he should be proud if anything he didnt need push on anymore after his good start, but he was done by an excellent ball.
england just need keep their wicket and get to 200 then access how to play it from their. |

So England finally lose out after a brave effort by the lower order but South Africa are the new world number one.
Have England played below recent standards or have the tourists simply been too good? |

bit of both, sa played pretty well right through their side. think england have had too many no-shows this series, possibly the pietersen saga been bubbling under the surface for a while. said it a while ago but think strauss is a long way past his best but no one really challenging strongly for his place. when cook isnt moving his feet, makes us very vulnerable. _________________ Positions are available in the OLBG Lottery syndicate. Enjoyable Test series, often is with best of the best and IMO these two teams are right now. SA great road team, Eng very tough at home.
Shame it wasn't a 5 match series.
Betting wise, cleaned up on game one and got buried on game 3. |

| well english conditions suit the saffers. Both sides are very simliar but the parts are currently working better for south africa, the batting line up is that bit stronger, the seamers are that bit more effective, and then as well their spinner got more results |
