Time For A Goal..AUGUST 18th Start. How To Play

"TIME FOR A GOAL" is Mostly a game of lots of luck with a hint of skill.

The aim of the game is to acheive as much time in Hours & minutes over 4 Weeks.

The leagues covered will be English Prem,Championship,LG 1, LG 2 ,Blue Square Prem & Scots Prem. (Same List as Over 2.5 Game)

To Score Time you will do the following....

Step 1 .
Pick 5 games from weekly published list (just name the home side)

Step 2.
Next to each of your 5 games state the following
G ... If you think Both teams will score in the game
NG ... If you think Either of the teams will not score (or both not score)
H .. If you tip the first goal in the game to be scored by the HOME team
A ...If you tip the first goal in the game to be scored by the AWAY team

For example :- Everton H
Man Utd H
Southampton NG
Celtic H
Coventry A

To acheive your Minutes you will be awarded the time of the first goal in each match.
The later the goal comes..the more time you will be awarded.

If you predict your H,A,G.NG selection correct for that match you will be awarded 15 Minutes of time in the Bonus section.

Penaltys & Own Goals Count as double minutes!!!

You also score double minutes for the First Game on your list.

For example :-Everton H .......... Everton score first after 15 minutes from open play...this game scores 60 mins total. All scores are doubled as it is the first game in the list of 5. 15 mins doubled is 30 & the prediction of Home scores 30 (15 Doubled)

Man Utd H ....... First goal is at 32 Mins ..Scored by the AWAY side..this game will score 32 mins.

Southampton NG ....Southampton win 1-0 with a spot kick at 55 mins....This will score 110 mins for the goal & a further 15 mins for the Correct NG selection..Total of 125 Minutes for the game.

Celtic H... This ends as a Nil Nil draw...no minutes awarded as no score the NG option was not tipped.

Coventry A .... This ends as a 2-2 draw ..Coventry scoring first via an own goal on 22 Minutes...This match will score 44 minutes (22 doubled as it was an own goal)

Add all those together and the score for week 1 would be......... 261 Minutes or 4 Hours & 21 Minutes.






Postponements are dealt with as the rules for over 2.5 goals..

EXCEPT if your top of the list game is postponed or abandoned before the first goal then game 2 on your list will move to the top.

Your replacement for the postponed match will become the next unchosen game on the published list moving downwards.

Your NG,G ,H , A will be copied over from your Postponed game to your defaulted new game...it's not perfect but this is primarily a game of luck so best I can offer.

Finally any game abandoned in play that is scoreless will be replaced as above..If the game has at least 1 goal the game will be settled in the manor described above (this doesnt happen that often so not worth worrying about)

In the event of a tie on points at end of competition ..The Player With Highest Scoring Week 4 Wins..If Still Draw Week 3 ...Week 2 ..Week 1
