| I know he may not been everbody's cup of tea as a presenter or commentator but I've just read that he is to undergo cancer surgery..... I wish him well in recovery. He is to take a break from his Channel4 duties for some time I believe..... |

Part of my working life has been to help engineer equipment for hospitals..scanners and such....
Having seen many cases of this illness..progress is being made, but it is a long road, but if you catch it early you do stand a better chance of recovery.

I've just spotted this. There was mention of it prior to a race but I didn't catch it properly. Just heard that he was in hospital.
I like Tommo and appreciate his style of race commentary. He seems a really nice and human guy and I wish him all the luck in the world.
Remember Tommo, Bob Champion came back after surviving the big C and won a Grand National. Not suggesting that you follow his course but may you return bigger and even better than before.

 lost a great workmate at work felt ill went to doc then hospital 8weeks later gone i hate this desease, get well tommo but this one really does go to the judge |
