Just watched the race actually got goose bumps as that was bloody impressive.
Like others have said, it is impossible to compare eras but he is a legend and we are lucky to have seen such in our time. _________________ www.twitter.com/overthefence200

| Frankel is unreal. No Horse has ever given me goosebumps and more so, completely shocked me time and time again. Certainly the best horse I am likely to ever witness and glad I have been to see him live as well. A true Legend of a Horse. |

I'm 33 and have to say I have never seen a horse improve and improve and improve the way this beautiful beast has. Of course I will be watching Black Caviar on Saturday to see whats in the locker - but I would wish they could get these two power houses to have a go at each other. How would the betting go?!! This has to be something that they get on? Why avoid each other?? _________________ Slow and steady wins the race! |

I think what people are forgetting how good this horse actually is. Excelebration is an above average horse in himself and if frankel wasn't in the fields, the amount of group ones he has been notching up, we would have been calling him exceptional. Therefore for me Frankel may be the best i have ever seen. _________________ Follow Me On Twitter |

Its about Distance, Nijinsky was brilliant over 12 furlongs and won over 14 furlongs, and the 2,000gns.
The great Brigadier Gerard won the 2,000gns beating Mill Reef and My Swallow, and won the Eclipse and King George & Queen Elizabeth.
Alleged was beaten only once, and that was the St.Leger, but won two Arc's.
Ribot won the King George and two Arc's............
Frankel is Brilliant over 8 furlongs, and i believe will be just as good over 10 furlongs.
Having seen the first four mentioned in the flesh, and not by design, but because i would go racing as much as i could i have no doubt that Frankel sits at the same table as the above mentioned.
I am so glad that all race people can now see what true greatness is because over the decades people would say "AH that is a champion", and i would reply you were not around when true champions were about, but now race goers of this generation can see what real champions are, because in the late 60's and early 70's we were spoilt for champions, and now with Frankel race people of today can now see how good the above mentioned were, because all the mentioned above were in the same league as Frankel.
I know it was fourty years and plus ago, but i remember it as if it was yesterday, and though i would watch them go around in the parade ring i never thought of them as all-time greats, but when i have been to functions i have had race people come up to me and ask what were they like.........i wish i had kept my race programmes and badge's. _________________ Trading or Betting Blogs & System section Daily Lays
