Fontwell 330 Azulada bay gets a tentative vote being steeped up in distance today for the M rimell yard teaming up with N scholfield who has a impressive strike rate round here hurdling 6/33 for a +30.9 lsp. Trainer does well here also particularly in hurdle races. We are visored 1st time and are a consistent horse of late winning over further at today's venue. 1 placer has come out of the last race all be it a Towcester on Gf conditions. Im suprised my pick is not the fav and should be in the mix today
0.5pt win
1pt place _________________ Watching those snakes !!!!!!!!

16:25 Duesseldorf ELECTRELANE NAP
This race are the German 1000 Guineas and I am confident that Electrelane can come home first if the horse handles the track and Jim Crowley will not force the pace up the hill. The selection was a good second to LOUGH OUT LOUD last time and the other horse runs in a mile Group 2 at Chantilly 2 hours earlier and could give the last form a boost. However, the german runners are nothing special and we have seen last week when Caspar Netscher won the German 2000 Guineas that it not has to be Camelot to come over to win a german classic. I hope Crowley will make the running or will sit close to the pace and could romp home in the straight. 3/1 is good value imo. Best of luck. |

MAUNDY MONEY
15.15 Listowel NAP @ 10/1
The 3.15 at Listowel this afternoon is one of the few races on the card that hasnt been chopped up due to non runners which is a good thing as it means we still have 8 runners which helps as its by far the most interesting race of the day in Ireland IMO.. The first three or four places in the betting are occupied by unexposed types between 3 and 4yos, however it is the outsider of the party and one of the older horses in the field at 9yo in Maundy Money that im pretty sweet on..
The selection is clearly not the same horse he was 2 or 3 years ago but as a result he is 14lbs lower than when he won a handicap at Tipperary just this time last year and obviously still retains some ability as he showcased when putting in some very useful efforts at Dundalk during the winter season.. The pick of his form would have to be his excellent run when beaten only 2 lengths behind Barrow Island who was a really well handicapped horse at the time.. The form of that race worked out well as both Barrow Island and Moonbi Creek have scored subsequently in decent little races.. The selection is much better on the turf and for me has conditions in his favour this afternoon and Fergal Lynch is a very good man to have on his back..
The selection speaks for itself really.. Maundy Money is a horse who has course form winning twice from 4 starts at the venue, both times when there was some dig in the ground.. The selection has very good form on an easy surface so any more rainfall would only enhance his chances against the less experienced market rivals.. In David Marnane he has a trainer that knows the time of day and has excelled in this type of contest since he took over training.. 10/1 is probably a good Each Way bet as long as the 8 runners remain.. |

5.20 Nottingham
It usually gets my attention when one of the smaller stables stikes form and then you see cash for a runner of theirs. The yard of Karen Tutty has had seven runners in the last fortnight with two of them winning and another three making the frame. In the 5.20 Nottm' Hurricane Thomas is being nibbled at and has winning form at the track - he is also ten pounds below his last winning mark and has the able assisstance of Franny Norton in the saddle. Thoroughly exposed but not without a chance if putting in his best effort in such a modest looking contest and is worth a couple of points Each Way of my cash @12/1 with Betfred - Paddy Power or Boylesports. Should not be a double figure price in my opinion.
Selection : Hurricane Thomas ..... 2 Points Each Way @12/1 ( Paddy Power ( BOG ) Betfred or Boylesports )
Good Luck If You Play |

| Gunner....... a lot of punters will have a staking plan ; some will use a 1 to 5 points with one being the minimum and 5 being a 'Max Bet' ; others will use their plan on a 1 to ten scale ( My preference ) ; so as you can see it's not what I'd call a strong bet. |
