Ferrer vs Raonic
Where Raonic looked impeccable dismissing Murray, Ferrer faced matchpoints yet struggled in a win against Lopez.
Ferrer is a defensive Spanish claycourt wonder and Raonic is a consistently hard server difficult to break.
Over 22.5 games. |

Well done Snoopy
Raonic might surprise a few in bigger tournaments with his serve, he certainly knows how to hit the ball _________________ My Twitter Page = Toonmick70

Nadal vs Ferrer
Insane odds for Ferrer, and only a fool thinks he can win. Once Nadal gets on a run there is no stopping him. There is however one other claycourter out there who lives in the shadows, and that is actually Ferrer.
Ferrer is a different story on clay vs Nadal, having won 5 times from the King of Clay. He is mentally different than the unmotivated opponents of Verdasco (13 straight loses) or Tipsy (no set ever) what Nadal just now encountered.
Ferrer only has to believe he can win, which he actually does. Nadal really only has to lose serve once for the whole match to go over 19.5. |
