Channel four are talking up "pricewise" selection PRAVDA STREET he has to find something with TARIQ TOO from Thirsk race.
The way TARIQ TOO won on soft ground was in a good manner.
After looking through the race a bit more many of these have raced against each other on many times and one that caught my eye at the start was IMPERIAL GUEST, who looks to hold a few, who has won on his first race of the season for the past two years. Interesting runner. The one that could be the major factor here is FATHSTA who looks well weighted to be a big player.
Can handle these conditions and 20/1 with William Hill and a lot smaller with others at present time. |

At Haydock 3.40 SECRET EDGE has been in the best of races, here and over in Ireland, from the Alan King yard, 20/1 on offer and jockey taking 7lbs off.
Wonder if anyone has any views on this one or any runner that could be of interest. |

I think Saphir River is of interest in 340, Ran at both festivals since moving from France, unseated rider at Cheltenham then ran a blinder to place at aintree under very kind ride from Carberry.
Drop in trip looks a concern but if you go through his french form his gave was only beat a nose by Spirit son over shorter trip....
Would have preferred a better jock on board but could still be on decent mark |

Pricewise has gone Pravda Street? Interesting, that one caught me eye as well but I guess that is value gone now.
The argument is that its Ellison first of all, so its best not to take all its runs at face value, it may well have needed it lto anyway. Plus John Fahy has ridden 3 winners from 11 rides for Ellison so there isn't much evidence to say that this is the second string for the yard (Global Village won well a couple of runs ago but maybe has nothing to hide from the handicapper now).
His close up 4th in the International Stakes last season (on going probably a little softer than the official description) puts him right in this. On the down side he would probably need a career best but he's only had 26 runs despite his age so is it entirely beyond the realms of fantasy?
Maybe at 22/1 all the value isn't gone... _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

The fact that Cross Kennon is 16/1 in the opener at Haydock is baffling. The horse has its conditions this afternoon, loves soft ground and definitely is classy enough to carry 11-12 to victory as it has done many times this season. Slammed Bensalem here in soft ground so will definitely perform on the track. And i just cannot see any of these horses getting as near to Cross Kennon on class and in my opinion class will out.
Im surprised Fallen For You is such a short price against Chachamaidee, considering the Cecil runner is a proven performer in tough company against top class fillies including Sahprehsa who is just class. Fallen For You may be special but a win today would prove as much. _________________ Follow Me On Twitter |

Ascot 4.00 - Any opinions on Limit Up? Remember this one being highly touted on debut having been nicely bred (by Shamardal) and was supported as such into 15/8 favourite at Musselburgh. Ran no sort of race there looking a bit green IMO however I expect it will know its business a lot better today and come on a lot for that debut run. It has been supported a little already from 10's into 8's and I feel this Mark Johnston colt's price could come in further throughout the afternoon? Ian Mongan is an interesting booking for Johnston too? Can't remember him riding many for him? Has about 4 lengths to find on market favourite Hototo but should come on a bundle from debut.......I hope |

well my bets are on my main bet is 3.25 Ascot FATHSTA was suposed run at chester and was declared non runner and takes his chance today and is very nicely treated ground will be fine and trip looks perfect as is always running on over 6f so 7f should suit just fine and has a nice draw everything looks in place for a very big run i took 18/1 i expect it too get alot shorter
2.20 Ascot MAKING EYES ground should be fine goes well fresh won over 1mile salisbury easily sure to get a good run for money i have backed it to WIN
2.00 Haydock BIG OCCASION loves soft and heavy ground and suport is coming for this horse the price is dropping has nice weight 10-6 I haved backed e/w looks banker for a place and Conner o'farell is good jockey martin pipe could have a good day today
3.40 Haydock DREAM ESTEEM another big pipe run on the cards here I think for me Lifestyle and Ubi Ace and Dream Esteem are the best horses in the race but Lifestyle has too much weight today surely bt should be in 1st 3 and Ubi Ace is also high in weights and so is DREAM ESTEEM but had a good claimer on board to take some wight off and makes it alot better of than surfing today I backed E/W 14/1 sure to grab a place and hopefuly even win |

Just playing a few very small bets today, to many catch the eye,
2.0 Cantlow or Bottman, Cantlow will win one of these and probably the safest
bet of the two, but I got small eway Bottman who if producing his 5th to
Bless The Wings he would have a good chance, prob a better hurdler too than chaser.
so small eway 25/1 |
