Kempton Park 20:05
Hinton Admiral
Hinton Admiral was a major player in the claimers and sellers races having won three races this winter. Ran a good second for this new yard Conor Dore's at Lingfield last time.I suppose some people might find this mark beyond his abilities. He has a good pacemaker in the form of his stablemate Lastkingofscotland so I feel he will give a good account today. |

Kempton Park 20:05
Sutton Veny
Finished 7/14 LTO at Windsor but from a bad draw & didn't have a clear run! Clearly loves it round here at Kempton winning 4 out of 7! Off same mark today as previous 2 runs and should go close! All wins to date have come over 6f. Has won a class 3, so looking to go closer than the 4th in December over C+D. |

BUTTON MOON
Has been really highly tried in her career to date (2 of last 3 runs were in listed races), the last time she tackled a class 4 hcap she came 1l 3rd at Newmarket off 83. Todays mark of 80 looks realistic and if she can get to the front from 7 could make them all go. Her last run here was disappointing but she was drawn in the car park and would have used up a lot getting to the front. Outsider of the field but could get in the places. _________________ Horse Racing One A Day Winner April 11

Last Sovereign (GB)
Short distance, runner very close in OR rank, Last Sovereign win this C&D right at middle of March this year with today weight, very good performance at short distance, so far three wins from total of seven in carrier was obtained at 6f. also know very well this track, starting 15 race here, is coming after two race at superior class of race, so today class more accessibility, mentained constantly at today OR rank. |

I have looked at this race over and over and finally managed to get it down to two horses, although most have claims on previous form I was left to choose between Sutton Veny and Hatta Stream. I feel that with a better draw Sutton Veny would be an excellent bet in this race but drawn in stall 10 puts me off him. I am therefore going to side with Hatta Stream in the hope that he can rediscover his form of 2010. He won a bit cheeky that day over this distance and in the same class race that he runs in today. He was carrying a slightly higher weight that day. He can break well and likes to sit in behind front runners and that with his draw in stall 5, should see him up near the front and out of trouble. To my knowledge, stable only has one runner today and it is a Pearce family duo who may take this race at a very nice price. Hope I have made more than four points! GL all.

8:05 Jack My Boy 12/1
The selection is very lightly races on the All Weather having only had 3 races on it (2 here at Kempton and one at Wolverhampton the two races here at Kempton where both over 7f a distance the horse is yet to be successful over so we can expect improved running over this trip where the horse has won 4 of his 5 races)
The one race he has had at this trip was off a mark of OR94 last March when beaten by the likes of Flipando, Medicean Man, and Jimmy Styles. The winner went on to win at Ponte 6f the 2nd won twice at Ascot off OR96 and OR101and well as 2nd off OR106 also at Ascot the 3rd went on to win a listed race NTO at Doncaster off OR99 so the fact that the selection can run here off OR78 would tell me he is well in, in the context of this race
The horse has run 4 times in C3-C4 6f races off a break of between 21-28 days and his form reads 1-22-6- The 6th place was on Heavy going LTO when trying to make all when heavily eased in the final furlong he had blinkers on then after 7 runs in a visor the visor is back on today here the horse will be up with the pace here and should be able to put the race to bed in the final furlong
Silvestre De Sousa is an interesting booking for the horse teaming up for the first time he has a decent strike rate for the yard and would be a big plus around here his 6th Jockey in his last 7 running’s the horse has form on his 3rd run of the season that reads 1-2-4 over the last three seasons so everything looks right for a big run from this one |

WE HAVE A DREAM
a very tricky race to kick May off and a tentative choice at decent odds to hopefully get me a flyer?
muirs last 3 horses have included a win and a 2nd so not in too bad form, and at kempton has a healthy profit return if you follow his horses blindly. a slight drop in grade makes the top weight competitive and a recent run will do his chances no harm. low draw is another plus and most of the market leaders in race have a not so good high draw. question marks against most of the field id rather go for a bit of value and hope selection grabs a podium place at least.
good luck all |

Hopefully i can start the month collecting points in the shape of Regal Approval from the Jim Boyle stable. His form shown so far seems solid enough to suggest he can make an impact in this field and he looks on a winnable mark. His two handicap runs at the track was very pleasing; fading close home on both occasions of seven furlongs, so the drop back in distance to six furlongs should play positively within his strengths.
The Clive Cox trained Ganas looks the most interesting of the remainders having shown plenty of promise on handicap debut last time out over course and distance and should again come on for that effort. Sutton Veny possibly prefers the minimum five furlongs though as shown promise over course and distance and looks on a very lenient mark within this company. Ganas and Sutton Veny both have to over come the wide draw though recent races here suggest that's not an impossible task. It's a difficult race to sort for us punters though hopefully Regal Approval can prove good enough.
REGAL APPROVAL

Silenzio
First run of the year for the only colt in the race and with Richard Hughes making his comeback today (0 from 3 so far though!!) he'll be itching to get off the mark. Sire has an impressive 15%+ strike rate here and although he's had 5 cracks at it thus far, another year wiser and fresh and raring I'll take him at around 10/1.
Good Luck _________________ Team Thread |

Firstly i think the draw is important in such a tight race but i do think my selection is capable if on tune to win from one of the tougher draws. (Silenzio) can run well fresh and races of this sort are usually the bread and butter of this trainer i do think this horse will take another step up this year. My selection has beaten a couple of improvers last year and if coming on from the break which Mr Hannons horses always seem to get better by every race so with this improvement i think he could be the answer even though the bad draw. |

Sulis Minerva
Has won 2 of it's 9 AW races, both earlier this year, under this jockey. Step back up in distance to 6f likely to suit. Ran well LTO finishing 4th to higher rated horses after being badly hampered. Well drawn in stall 4.
Usual jockey Raul De Silva in the saddle again and able to claim a useful 5lb, has had a few wins recently and a S/R here of 14%, trainer Jeremy Gask S/R here again 14%, jockey/trainer combination 13.5%. |
