KEMPTON 20:05

LastkingofScotland.......Being a Scot i've got to pick this one from Conor Dore yard in Hubbert's Bridge, Lincs , The 6yo carrirs bottom weight for going up in class to class 4 ,
Two races back it won here at 6f in class 5 in March with Luke Morris onboard the yard is bring Hayley Turner in for this race she has won 4 times onboard LastkingofScotland,
Its last run was at Wolverhampton over 6f in class 4 Hcp in March when it finished 4th of nine runners the yard have gave it a months rest as it's had 11 runs this year already and should be in good condition as some horse in race have not ran since last year.
Is drawn 2 which is a good draw for round here, the yard in form with a couple of winners in the last couple of weeks ,

GANAS
difficult to justify with only 4 runs to work on, but clearly has potential, going on an upward curve with regard to RPR, topspeed and ran in 6K hcap last time faded late on btn 1/2 l. Stable made a good start, regular jockey on board. both jockey and trainer profitable for this owner.

kempton 20.05

sutton veny

with a rating of 85 (best in the field) and r moore on board i feel this horse can take the win in this.
at windsor it caught the eye after finishing 7th out of 14 but with a hampering 2f out still finished well.
r moore is showing some good form off late too, and jeremy gask will hope to get a first winner off the new season

Jack My Boy

Should be fitter now after two runs back and looks on a fair mark, still only
had 3 AW runs and hasn't run to bad on either starts here, Jockey booking
is a + and although Evans not firing them in all over the place he looks to
have a chance of a place at least, draw looks ok as theres pace from a few
in this so hopefully get a tow in and come through, as always with sprints you
could go round and round in circles.

LASTKINGOFSCOTLAND

A tough race to call with may CD and D winners in the lineup. I have picked this on the following points

1. Won over this C/D in March
2. Has been a muliple winner already this year
3. Hayley Tuner takes the ride
4. 7 lbs lighter than its last win at Kempton over CD.

Although this is up in Class and did not run well last time , I think the Jockey Change, its weight change , it's consistency, it could go well and be a good priced winner for the 1st race of this competition.

Good Luck everyone Smile

kempton 8.05 sulis minerva

this has one has a chance today with the young talented raul de silva on board j.gask is doing not too well here at kempton but he did get a 20/1 winner yesterday which i had Laughing called wiltshire life also the jockey raul de silve has a decent record here going back through april he had 7 mounts 3 of those were winners and another 2 came 4th also a 40/1 second so a good strike rate here and also takes off a handy 5lbs sulis minerva`s last run was a decent enough 4th to suger beat who has since ran again and came 3rd in a class 1 its last win you would have to go back to jan 12 at lingfield in a class 5
but with a little improvement here can gain another success under a very capable jockey.

Hinton Admiral

This will be his first start for his new connections over 6 furlongs, he ran over 7 furlongs for his new stable just over 3 weeks ago and finished a decent 2nd.

8 of his 16 career wins have been over this distance, although he hasn't won in a class higher than class 5 for quite a few years.

Hayley Turner rode him last time out and they took the lead 2 furlongs out but got headed a furlong out, the drop back to 6 furlongs with the same tactics may well produce a better result.

He is running very consistently at the moment with 9 of his last 10 runs being in a placed position, another good run today will see him placed again at the least

SUTTON VENNY

A winner over the course and distance 4 times and has run well in class 3 handicaps in the past even winning one in that class so should be a home in this class. The trainer has two running in this race and on jockey bookings this looks to be the one the trainer rates his best chance. Although he hasn't won on a handicap mark of 85 before he has won on a mark of 83 so should be able to cope with a 2lbs raise. Last time out was running on well when very badly hampered when 7th and with a clear run would have been in the frame. With a clear run here should be able to be competitive and maybe enhance his already decent course stats.

GANAS

A beaten favorite last time out since he ran well till last furlong on a six furlong distance.

Beaten only a half l last race and finished third

a distance winner and able to run such track

horse form is ok and top jockey can lead him to a win today

LASTKINGOFSCOTLAND

I am always swayed when I see Hayley in the saddle and she has ridden this C + D winner to victory on more than one occasion. He is a definite AW horse. The 2 stall should be OK. He is bottom weight and carrying a lot less than for a long time. He has been running with the blinkers for a couple of years and these have certainly proved an advantage. I think he will cope with the slight rise in class. I can't see anyhting really outstanding in the race.

SILUS MINERVA.

Not too many of these are not currently at the top of their game. Form figures for the selection are not impressive but she does appear to have been running better than the bare results and is given preference over her stable companion. Denied a clear run on two occasions last time , she still managed to plug on for 4th. Well drawn here which will give the jockey more options.

Arguably better suited by 6f , there are excuses for her last two runs over 5f on turf. Her latest hike in the ratings is of no great help but Raul Da Silva takes a useful 5lbs off. The combination teamed up for a winner here yesterday and it is certainly one of the trainer's more lucrative tracks.

KEMPTON 8.05

LAST SOVEREIGN

Very trappy looking sprint, which Iv'e narrowed down to two, Sutton Veny & Last Sovereign, neither of which have been done any favours with the draw.
The selection usually likes to force the pace or at least be in the firing line, his latest win he missed the break, when the rider failed to get the hood off in time, the same jockey also rode him last time at Wolves, where he looked to go off too fast early on in the race, he has now been replaced by a decent looking 5lb claimer.
Last Sovereign has won 3 times at Kempton, twice over 7f and once over tonight's trip of 6f, so a decent gallop from the start will surely suit.
From his high draw, he may not be able to get the early lead but having managed to overcome a slow start on his last visit here, he should be able to get a good early position with a clear run down the outside probably being an easier course to navigate, than being drawn in the middle of the pack.
