Interesting race and I would be quite happy too take on Quevega who I believe wont relish in these very testing conditions the horses best performances have been on good or quicker ground including at the festival last year when winning on completely different ground so probleys the heaviest ground could possibly get in Ireland today and if u dont love the mud u have a big problem so my conclusion safest bet would probleys be Volar Le Vedette who loves the heavy ground and will stay just fine and has improved alot since last years race and looks the one too beat today and a horse that is also catching my eye at big price is Won In The Dark who finished 2nd in Festival Free Upgrade Offer Ends Today Hurdle Race 2m 22/02/12 - Punchestown..and made good headway on the soft to heavy ground and that was only at 2 miles and 3mile today so is slight worry but finished 3rd in Www.Racinghomeforeaster.Com Hurdle Race 1 2m 4f and was outpaced staying on again and looked like crying out for longer trip and softer ground and then was sent too aintree 3m gd sft ground and was brought down when held up and going fine everything just looks perfect for a big run from won in the dark trip ground gd jockey on board looked best E/W value of the race and im quite happy too Lay quevega and get me out of here could be a dark horse but not sure such testing conditions will be ideal for him..........share your views all please ty

Punchestown.......Timetable...First race at 4.50pm...hurdle races only, but i see they still have the 4mile 1 furlong cross-country race on, i cannot see anything finishing in that race....that is crazy in these conditions, but there you are.

Money to be made on any proven 4m on heavy ground then turf? If you finish you will probably get a place.

4:50pm Punchestown - Tally Em Up
2pt WIN

Tally Em Up is of interest to me in this race. He has previous form over 3miles in Heavy ground at this track in February when a close 3rd to Scotsirish. He then took his first step beyond 3 miles in the Glenfarclas Handicap Chase at Cheltenham over 3m7f. Didn't have enough for the leaders but finished a good 5th just over 12 lengths back and I think he looked to be able to stay further so he should get this extra two furlong trip. The heavy ground will take a lot out of these horses so this one who can handle it and looks to stay is a good choice for me at good odds.

Had a good look at Wolverhampton today and feel ultra confident off making some profit across the card. There are some real consistent sorts running in average races.

2:20 Wolverhampton NAP Red Cape @ 2.90
Ultra consistent and sets standards on all of all weather key attributes.

2:50 Wolverhampton Tigerino @ 6.5
Decent course form and a nice overprice.

3:20 Wolverhampton NB Stand Guard @ 3.45
The class horse in the race and should have enough to see of Overrule.

3:55 Wolverhampton Patriotic @ 4.3
Just consistent, others arent and are poor.

4:30 Wolverhampton The Which Doctor @ 14
Again, consistent and overpriced.

5:00 Wolverhampton Land Hawk @ 9.0
A tighter race than the others but sets the standard.

5:35 Wolverhampton Elijah Pepper @ 4.8
Probably the closest race of the day on ratings but also sets the standards.

Im playing singles and going to chuck them all in double and trebles etc
