When you back a horse and there is withdrawals or non runners you get a rule 4 deduction or Betfair's version that I can never work out, if you are laying a horse why is there no such thing as a rule 4 addition.
Layed Jet Away in the 2.45 at Ripon today today in a 5 runner field but thought I had a couple in the race that could get it beaten but I find later that one of these was withdrawn and it just got me thinking when you have backed a horse to win you get a rule 4 deduction but it does not apply the other way round, perhaps it should.
