I fancied Talbot Green last time as he is better than a mark of 57.
It's a close call this time with Cloudy Start running of a low mark(finished behind Talbot Green last time) and the other two leaders in the market having good claims, but Talbot Green is a very young horse and has improved with each run since a big break last time and I think he could go one better. _________________ The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits |

Both the new zealand horses looks good enough to win the australian derby at randwick tomorrow.
SANGSTER-Finally he is on the distance that he suppose to run and expect a bold showing from him with cassidy on the back and a good value as well.
SILENT ACHIEVER-A classy performer who should be 2nd or 3rd fav on the running of the race but wouldn't surprise me even if he starts as a favourite. On his 1st forray to australia he did very well to finish 3rd even after he was checked on the run home. The horse to beat is still gai waterhouse's trained LASER HAWK but at this distance i would gladly take SILENT ACHIEVER on win only and SANGSTER ON EW.
Anyone betting on the aussie races is up to you |

Stuck my neck out taking on Dart Queen at 7/4 and get 2/1 for Aquilonious that ends up 11/8 and get chinned within a head of the front runner, on which I had pennies! Correct but no real profit to show......should have just layed it.......
Judging by the 11/4 opening show from 2's means my Ernest Hemingway selection is in trouble too.....

| Totally agree ExoticDancer. I also feel Talbot Green is the best handicapped horse of the nine here. |

Not suggesting anyone to back it but I think the trainer of Walk With Destiny is worth keeping an eye on as he is capable enough and it's interesting how this one goes. _________________ The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits |

| I liked Cropley in that one ExoticDancer. As improved from first to second run; and could improve further for this surface. It doesn't look a strong maiden. |

Aiden - thanks for your comments this afternoon......Ernest Hemingway was mighty impressive there. Perversely went against it when it drifted to 10/3!!! Won like a 1/3 shot! Hope you had a bit on. |

| Any thoughts on Wooden King? Seems to have reasonable C+D form and quite a good price now? |
