I've put 5 ( ) selections up in the thread. Don't think I've ever backed that many in one day and definitely sticking my neck on the line!
Looks some decent competitive racing on the all weather and let's be hopeful Yarmouth survives a morning inspection.
Good luck everyone! |

|
|
|
Just up for work and was saw Ascot Wednesday is diverted to Kempton,FREE GRANDSTAND TICKETS ARE NOT VALID,DO NOT TRAVEL TO ASCOT.
However you can have free replacements for a choice of 3 other days
Quote from Ascot website CALL OR EMAIL ASCOT.....
RACING ABANDONED: Moss Bros Free Raceday Wednesday 2nd May
This morning, we were very disappointed to announce that we were left with no option but to abandon Moss Bros Free Raceday on Wednesday 2nd May. Following the announcement of an inspection on Sunday, for 4pm today on Monday, there has been a further 10mm of rain and the track is waterlogged in places and unraceable.
Unfortunately, we have had 123mm of rain this month of which 110mm has fallen in the last two weeks, which is unprecedented at this time of year.
Premier Admission Ticket Holders
All Premier Admission ticket holders will be automatically reimbursed. However, we would be happy to honour the price you paid for your tickets for one of the following three racedays:
•Friday 11th May: Race, Rattle 'n' Roll Racenight.
•Friday 20th July: Betfair Weekend featuring Property Raceday.
•Friday 27th July: Second July Meeting.
Grandstand Admission Ticket Holders
If you booked free Grandstand Admission tickets, we would very much like to offer you the opportunity to visit the racecourse for free on one of the above racedays. To rebook, please call us on 0844 346 3000 or e-mail us at sales.manager@ascot.co.uk with your booking name, reference number and your chosen date where we will swap your original order on a like for like basis. Any additional tickets can be booked at full price. |

| I've a message from the offices for Apatura Dik 3.50 Exeter - currently 12/1 at Stan James ; very likely to move as price has gone elsewhere - maybe worth a small Each Way interest. |

Well, I mentioned that I had an alert running today but wanted to see the price. I have posted it in the selection thread, BABY DOTTIE. I tried to get on @10 last night but could only get 8's this morning and is now under 5, so either it's in a lot of notebooks or the yard have actually backed it this time That said, I hyped this one up LTO only for it to run no race after it was 'gambled'.
Be lucky. |

I'm only putting horses in selections thread who I think are worthy or who I
get vibes about, Vertibes 4.40 10/1 eway, you could say there vibes there
Vertibes but not enough to put it in, modest bunch this lot and Nolecce has won
me money before and handles the ground but is so in and out,
Vertibes should handle the ground and the trainer brings it back to latest track
run, a track he does well at, its unexposed and might just be a little better than
this lot, he should find this easier than giving weight to 3yr olds like last run, |

| only a bit of fun but ive been looking at the tipsters on william hills example 33 for khubala in the 2 00 ling, and some have had soom good results ,wonder if its the tipsters on here , anyway ive looked at how many go for the same horse and are very bullish about them so ive pit them in my tips as there are to many to mention but ive studied the form and they all have a good chance so i have a few multiples flying about so take a look ,some short some long and see what you think let me know |

2.00 Lingflield
I was going to put Amphora on the selection thread but I see The Executioner has already put it up.
Khubala the favourite won last time after a break but that was a weak race and he just about beat a horse called Catflap who is no star and was well beat before by another contender here Trail Of Tears who is 9 times the price of the favourite.
Amphora thow is very interesting. He ran very well last time after a huge break making an effort but Dark Castle had flown already and there was no point. He also ran well behind a horse called Mince, finishing 4th about a lenght and something behind. Mince is no donkey and won next time out clear of the field by 5l and then just lost by a nk in a class 3 event. In the context of this race, which is way weaker than what Amphora has tried before he holds every chance and the rest of them don't even come close on this form. _________________ The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits |

For me, Lady Gibraltar is overpriced in the first. Winner over C+D here in December and a quick time. The 2nd in that race, Dishy Guru has come out and won twice since. Small place bet for me. |

I see Diamond's Return runs again.... Farrell's father owns it. Short price to go for its third win in quick-fire fashion.... jumps to win |
