I'd love a pin.... stick it in. I swear you should guess in half these handicap races
Nice call on Kiss a Prince though and the track - stuck it out the back and just stayed there |

Dubai Bounty and Dazzling Valentine and John Potts, the 3 horses behind Strike Force the last time they met
finishing 1,2,3 with Strike Force in 4th
unlucky for the punter who doesn't even get the £500 place money for his E/W acca _________________ Oscarwolfe |

I was on strike force and feel sooooooooooooooo sorry for that person could have gotten that 850k. Even it if had come 3rd he would have had something back but nooo.
What distance was strike force off 3rd?. _________________ I stake low on bets.
If i had a double headed coin I would still loose and if i had a lucky rabbits foot it would bring as much luck as it did the rabbit. |

Looking at SP's of horses does make you think. In Wolves handicaps since 2004 up to when Massey stopped his database, there were 328 winners priced 16-1 to 25-1, and 237 winners priced evens to 11-8 (this will be similar for every track I would think).... obviously the PERCENTAGE of winners is much better for the lower priced horses, but isn't it funny, that when you think about it, there are more winners priced over 16-1; guess the problem is sorting the wheat from the chaff..... problem is, while that horse was on a fair mark - it still looked like chaff to me |

Anybody placing 8 horse £1 e/w accas is hardly likely to have a fully loaded Betfair account _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

I've got a quick question that I hope someone could help me with.
If I wanted to Lay a horse on Betfair to be placed and there's only 7 runners (there was originally 8 runners but one was a N/R), will I be laying it to not finish in the first 2 or the first 3? |
