5.40 Leicester - GROSS PROPHET (NAP)
This horse looks to have a decent chance here was disappointing last time out on the polytrack at Kempton over 1m2f but will prefer going back to the turf having won twice in a row over 1m during August this year also went close at Folkestone two starts ago over 1m2f when 2nd out of 7 beaten by a distance of 1 1/2 lengths. |

Oriental Cavalier for me, this is a much easier race than the last two races he has raced in and he should go close. |

I don't know who did and didn't follow Sea Moon because of me today - I hope no-one did - and I know that I can't control what a horse does or doesn't do, or what jockey does or doesn't do, but I just want to apologise to anyone who may have lost money because of me putting this one up today. I can tell you now, I am every bit as, if not more gutted than anyone today tha Sea Moon didn't win. This isn't one of my customary moans after another loser, it's just that I am genuinely gutted at the outcome of that race, absolutely gutted. It is has been just one of those years, where almost every decision, bob of the head or unfortunate incident has gone against me.
And Zipster, top stuff as ever mate. A true credit to the forum. _________________ Dark Horses 2013 - Flat

Aiden, you're only too aware that no one would ever blame you for it losing (unless you're Ryan Moore in disguise ). Seriously though, I am one to moan (too much by my own admitance) but I never blame a poster. I have gone back to the drawing board today after believing in my own hype and trying to race to my monthly target rather than chipping away, the only positive is I have blown a profit rather than my hard earnt cash this time, so hopefully I am slowly turning a tide from losing money, to losing profit and from now on making profit; I am now going to use a 1 to 5 point stake to back and Lay and stick to it, it's the only way. All that said that horse could have won if he had cruised it closer to the pace - would have won without the whip rather than losing without the whip - however, guess we must accept the ups and downs I will try to moan less.
P.S guys not sure if I'm about tomorrow - but take a look at GearBox over at Kempton tomorrow night, should go very well. |

Just remeber Aidan, you had a realy nice priced double yesterday. There's no way of telling how a horse will run on it's first outing and there's no way the jock would be allowed to give it a hard time. So all in all, you were right about it, it's just that little bit of experience that counted in the end. Can't win em all, it'd be no fun and we'd have no bookies to fleece (us).... |
