INVINCIBLE CARA (J.Dunlop)
Fifth at Newmarket yesterday evening, slowly away and not hurried into the race was running on nicely at the finish.
Her two half-brothers, Elusive Pimpernel (RPR 116) and Palavinci (112) both achieved black type.
She will appreciate further than this six. |

DEBATING SOCIETY
I have a suspicion that the 11f handicap this one was in is going to work out well and they went quite a strong gallop, generally favouring horses who were held up early. He was right up there throughout though and, although the fast finishers caught the eye running on, the fact he was still there in 3rd at the end is probably more significant. _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

DOMINATE
Missed the break on debut then weaved through horses and stayed on to take 2nd without being asked too much behind a useful winner. Interesting to see what they do with him now.
SUGARFORMYHONEY
Really in the process of running a good reappearance race when stumbling in the closing stages and being allowed to come home on her own afterwards. Set a tough task on last 2yo appearance and more to come.
VIRGINIA GALILEI
Travelled very smoothly on last maiden start, switched a couple of times but stayed on to take second. No chance with winner apparently, but this filly is yet to feel the whip... _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

Crouching Harry (Ireland)
Not that well drawn at Dundalk but travelled ok until jockey made a move 2f
couldnt get a run when seemingly going well and must have gone close, checked twice until switched outside and ran for a never nearer 5th one to keep an eye on |

ZAINA
Met some trouble in running in a very competitive handicap at HQ, also held up where the first 4 home were prominent throughout. Has had a couple of poorer results now and could go a nice price nto.
CARDINAL
More to come on today's evidence I think. Poorly drawn and raced on the unfavoured far side for the majority of the race. He stayed on in the closing stages into mid-division from flat last 2 furlongs out. I think he will work out better over 6f as well, and there could be a small handicap in him. _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

| Contributer - ( Ed Dunlop ) : A promising first effort when 6th in a warm maiden at headquarters won by the potentially smart Ghurair. Looked as though the race would do him plenty of good and the step up to a mile as a 2yo should bring about some improvement. One to watch closely over the coming months. |

TZORA
First run for 101 and ran out fairly impressive at a massive price winner of a two mile handicap at Stratford, could be interesting again when next seen has the capability to run a sequence of wins up. |

WORD OF WARNING
Stayed on through beaten horses to finish seventh, this run was over two miles, better over further, might be worthy to follow when over 20 furlongs, might be on a handy mark next time. |

Just had a look through my recent alerts and I think these have probably done their winning for us and can now be taken off:
Uncomplicated
St Oswald (3 wins)
Lui Rei (2 wins)
Compton Target
Rafaaf (2 wins)
Invigilator
Thanks for the memories guys!
On the other hand, these lot have been rubbish, and really should probably be taken off;
Uphold
Ashiri (really not gone on this one)
Cotes Du Rhone
Pharoah Jake
Right Result
Thanks for nothing, guys...

CRUISE TOTHELIMIT
Went off well backed favourite last night and was beaten into second, but it is clear in the closing stages (and from later results) that the CENTRE of the course was where they wanted to be on the run in and this one lead them all up the far side. Better than bare form suggests. _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

ASCRIPTION
Had some trouble in running but once clear chased clear leader and caught Hi There just before the line, both pulling clear, more to come from this expensive colt, even stepping up in trip. |

HIGHLAND COLORI
Been a winning machine this year and its tempting to see his 5th yesterday at Ascot as the handicapper finally catching up with him, but he was on the unfavoured far side and the effort needs marking up as a result. More to come I'd think and could be listed class potentially at between 6f and a mile. _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)
