Neptune Collonges gave 21lbs to Giles Cross then.
Will have to give 19lbs away in the Grand National.
Personally I can't see that, as I thought Giles Cross jumped the better of the two and still had a bit left in there. _________________ D.Rogerson's Ratings

I really like the chances of Valid Reason running off 130 here. Has won at the course on his debut beating Deireadh Re of nicholls who is now rated 139. Stays further so should do well in a race of this type.
KP also given him a positive in the paddock

| 20/1 for the National is taking the mickey |
I tend to agree - it would need some give in the ground ..... but I am happy with my 200.00 on Betfair which I got just after the Welsh National ; needs plenty to come out of the race at Aintree.... but may well just sneak in. |

Giles Cross is massively going dependent
anyone taking 20/1 is mad, you are betting on the weather, if it's good ground he's a million |
