| I'd be with the 2nd FAV in the next over in Ireland - Passage Vendome has good scope for improvement over this distance the champion trainer obviously feels he worth trying. Can't be with the FAV at that price - that short for a good reason - today was his day |

I think you're being a bit harsh to Hughes here. The winner in that race gave them all the run around and not much got anywhere near from off the pace. Giving him credit, he realised that it wasn't coming back to them and started stoking up his mount but never got there quick enough.
