kempton 4.55 veroon
not a prolific winner but a genuine type who has won 6 races from 1 mile to 1 mile 2 furlongs including two wins on polytrack.has to be considered giving a low draw with a jockey onboard who knows the score.trainer a bit in and out of form but veroon will be a fair Each Way price

4.55 KEMPTON

FIRST POST

Not a bad run last time out in quite hot race. Has a decent placed record when ridden by o'neil. Has kind draw and this is his best trip. Will go off at decent odds and should be more than capable of sneakin a top 3 finish.

Good luck all

4.55 (Uncle Fred) Is a lot better than his first run back is on a handy mark and has a good jockey here to guide him home did get caught in trouble on his first run back but that should not be a problem here coming out of stall one so should fair an awful lot better this time. And could be a decent price come the off. Confused

Rougette

Won over a mile @ Goodwood last June, ran off 87 next time out in a class 1 race.

Has also ran off 87 in a class 2 and off 85 in another class 1 and although well beaten he was highly tried.

Back down to a class 4 today, running over a distance he has won off and off a low mark of 82.

Michael Hills is back in the saddle today, he rode him when he won last year.

Kempton 4.55

PUSH ME

Push Me today as he won last time but off of 6lbs lower. We can ignore the race before that as it was far too long for him. He has won 4 times and placed 4 times which gives him an average of 33% placings of his 24 races. In his last 4 races he has won twice, second once and as I said previously the other race was too far. Michael O'Connel has ridden him 3 times and has won twice and 4th once. Michael only been out of comp's points 6 times in last fortnight and he and trainer have a 50% SR. My only woirry is that he is up 6lbs and up in class

Good luck all Fingers Crossed

Cheltenham 7:50 Mid Div And Creeping

Winner impressivley of this race last year the horse is a very tough stayer and allthough would prefer the ground to be a bit better he will stay on this ground
The horse has run twice here at Cheltenham and finished 2nd and 1st
The 2nd was in the 2011 Fox hunters at Cheltenham when 2nd behind Zemskie when priced up at 100/1 and went on to winning this race last season by 34L when a short priced Fav
The horse has been off the course since falling at the first in a race at Sandown in Feb and the trainer believes the horse is back to its best for this race and would be better than the rest of these on course form

Whilst Musselburgh looks set to go ahead with going reported to be not too bad there could still be non runners , so it may be more prudent to continue our summer tour of the AW tracks.

UNDERSTORY

1. Has consistent form over 10f. Finishing in the top 3 on numerous occassions
2. All Weather record is 50 % top 3 of all races
3. Hayley Turner takes the ride and will give it stronger handling.
4. Racing Post have highlighted that 100% of Mccarthy's horses are running to form
5. Weight has remained the same and finished 2nd over this distance at Kempton on this weight.
6. Good E/W price at the moment at 7/1

Yourinthewill

Although he hasn't got the distance yet, has won over 9 furlongs and finished 3rd in his only race at Lingfield, which was his last race back in January. Is rated 1lb higher than that effort and has Andrea Atzeni on board, and they finished 2nd together in only ride as a pair over this distance.

new river

trainer has started the season in his usual great form and everything he runs merits respect, has not shown anything but i think she might be a bit better than she has shown ,the distance will not cause her problems ,so hopefully she will handle the track, this is a very weak event and the selection might be after improving a lot over the winter,

UNDERSTORY

A winner over the distance 3 times and has won on a handycap mark of 72 before and gets in here on 71 so is handicapped to take a hand in the finish. Hayley Turner has been in fine form lately winning 5 races in the last 14 days and maybe she can boot this one home, as it had a recent pipeopener and only weakened in the last half furlong when 6th last time out. Should be fitter on his second run back after a break and has place claims at least.
