Kempton 5:15

I'm interested to know if anyone has the answer to this competitive affair! I have three running in this event tomorrow which expectedly are top in the betting currently.

Ducal
Dubarshi
Intercept

I'm having a hard time splitting them and feel the handicapper has done a great job. I will have to leave this one alone but interesting none the less.

Confused

The mods will soon shut this thread, if you change the title to Monday's discussion thread you might find yourself better off.

Intercept is an alert for me and it is due to that previous race they contested. He was widest drawn and was forced to come round the outside that time. He was unsuited by the going lto and has a great chance from stall 2 this time.

Also Dubarshi wasn't drawn all to well the last time they met but Intercept did run best from off the pace and I agree his last run can be ignored. He's a whopping price with Bet365 @ 9/1 currently!

Yep, big looking price and I wouldn't be surprised if it came under pressure soon. Best of luck mate! Win

Des, what's your opinion on Pose, 6.10 Windsor. Now over a stone lower than his last win. Last season was placed on Soft ground and placed at Windsor, has won 1st time out in the past. Confused

I will be there tomorrow and will post how she looks in the paddock. I remember from last year she looked very lethargic on her second run at Windsor (over 6f when didn't do anything) but was ears pricked and ready in preliminaries when she was 2nd.

My initial thoughts are though that she may take a run or two to get fully fit and the (very) deep going might be against her, assuming that racing even goes ahead.

Anyway Spitfire's going to win that one... Cheeky

The value in this race IMO is the Donovan trained TEVEZ at 16-1.running of a decent weight this one likes it round here and has a good C&D record.Interestingly through a form line through street power holds all the horses you mention at the weights and if tevez can finally get in a good position in the last 2f for a change it won't be caught IMO Win [/quote]

I think he needs a break from the handicapper TBR to be honest, this is a competitive looking race and Street Power has in my opinion improved from his efforts last season... he bolted up a couple of runs ago, looked a totally different horse.

Could be wrong of course but thats the way I see him. Confused

A few interesting maidens at Windsor tommorow night and it looks like the price forecasts suggest Ryan Moore might be on a few winners.

Interesting observation Moony, definitely got to agree that it is true to say that the price forecasts suggest it. However, strangely the esteemed Mr Moore is 0-9 at Windsor so far this season!

Prices?

2/1, Eve, 8/1, 9/2, 3/1, 9/2, 7/2, 9/4, 8/1

Should really have been a winner in there somewhere surely... or at least more than 1 placed effort!

Very Happy

Could be des although almost exactly one year ago tevez beat street power by 20 lengths over c&d but of course street power comes in off a great weight.

Vantaa looks interesting in 2.15 Kempton, had support at big prices on first run for Elaine Burke yard, had the worst of the draw at Wolves and never put into the race, bookies taking no chances though, installed as 2nd Fav
