Thank you IM for reminding myself of my own comments again! Yep, I fully agree I think Prospect Wells might be difficult to beat here given the upturn in Nicholls form. Darlan, although a very capable horse, is too short.
Would you rather be on Fingal Bay or Darlan today at the prices? I know which way I would go.

Have had a text from a pal at one of the major firms to say there is Each Way cash about in the offices for Nahneh 2.10 Sedgefield - still available @20/1 with William Hill - Bet 365 & Betfred and Boylesports - could be worth keeping an eye on. |

dont know if anyone has tipped it up.But i think TEVEZ (14-1 William Hill)has a chance of taking the 3.30 LEICESTER.It has a tendancy to run into trouble but once it gets out has a great finishing speed over the final 2f.Its on a great mark and in fact the last time it ran over C&D it won off a similar mark.In fact it is 100 per cent over C&D (2/2) _________________ *SPEED RATINGS WITH MARKET SUPPORT BLOG*

Great views all round on the 2.00 Aintree. It's going to be a great watch.

A lot said about the 2.00 Aintree. I like Vulcanite who I have in a multiple and Captain Connan e/w single but small stakes for me as Henderson is again trying to beat a better horse with two entries in the race. _________________ The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits |

3.30 LEICESTER
RUSSIAN RAVE @ 25/1 1pt E/W
Russian Rave is 1 from 1 at todays course when beating Bonnie Brae and looks overpriced to land this class 4 affair over the slightly extended 7f trip. Has form in higher classed races and holds a couple of the more fancied horses market-wise on a line through Valencha. His draw isn't too bad and is a similar draw as when landing a race here last May. Has been off for just over 6 months but does have placed form fresh, and today he may match those runs, if not better them. |

In the 2.00 I have to say I really fancy Darlan. Much like the Supreme Novice I fully expect Agent Archie to make the running and set a strong pace. Have a feeling McCoy will have Darlan alot handier that in the Supreme Novice when he was cruising home up the straight at Cheltenham. Prospect Wells is a concern and the Nicholls yard is evidently back in form but he really has had quite a long season and I feel Darlan will be the fitter horse.
As for the others Right Step has come in for a bit of money but after watching his run at Kempton again I wasn't overly impressed. Vulcanite to my mind is far too short with the form suggesting many of the Supreme Novice runners being better. Captain Conan won at Sandown due to Colour Squadron diving for the stands and hasn't impressed since.
The only two unknowns in my mind are Oscara Dara and Seventh Sky. Seventh Sky has patches of form on the flat and has been poor over hurdles but if he has been entered in this race they must feel he has something to show. Oscara Dara is really hard to analyse with only one showing over hurdles but appears to be the Henderson 3rd string here. |
