| Although she races here off a career high mark Golden Tempest still looks capable of running well back at the scene of her two wins to date ( 6 & 7 furlongs ) ; has place form over a mile so is not really inconvenienced too much by the trip and she looks generously priced @18/1 in the 2.05K with Bet 365 - SkyBet - Betfred & VC ; may well appeal to Each Way punters at those sort of odds. |

| Similar vibes were surfacing about Marvelino from the Eddery camp last week Jaw and look what happened to him - I couldn't even consider a bet in the race myself and it would be a brave punter who steps in a short odds with just rumours to go by....... Good Luck to anyone who bets in the race. |

Early thoughts on todays runners after viewing the cards at Kempton and Muss -
K
2.05 - The one I like is Highland Knight, a pint sized horse but all heart and seems to plug on really well over 1m trips, Probert knows him well and will hopefully have him handy from stall 1. Likes all-weather surface and should make a good account of himself from a workable mark, currently around 10's
3.45 - The one that interests me is progressive Hannon runner Esentepe, who on first look appears held by Witnessed on Beverley form by 1L, both staying well, however Witnessed had a 5Lb claim that day so shouldn't be a lot between them today. What appeals to me is Esentepe looks very strong over 1m, his last run (about 6 months ago) was a great run in a class 1 contest only going down by 1L into third. Ryan Moore is booked to ride him - chance - about 7's atm
M
4.25 - Cabal is hattrick seeking along with main danger Prohibition and I prefer the former here who still looks on a nice mark after back-to-back wins at Wolves. Will be staying on over this trip and should strip fitter for his recent runs, I expect him to get the better of Prohibition in what looks overall a pretty weak contest
5.35 - Greenhead High has form in better contest than this and should be hosing up in this field, most of his runs have come on the polytrack but has posted a decent run on turf before, no one knows him better than Adrian Nicolls and can be excused for his recent run at Wolves, if bouncing back looks the one to beat here |

Mehdi has a great chance in the 4.20 @ Kempton
A fine recent 3rd in the UAE 2000 Guineas, the only horse to have run already this season, will improve again for the run
5/1 is a cracking price |

Hmmm...it's hard to ignore Jason Maguire ridden horse at Haydock when he is the #1 jumps jockey with 30% SR (27-91) @ LSP +16.55 for the last 5 seasons. He still maintained his #1 status current season too with 33% SR (9-27). Buffalo Bob got 5 wins, 3 seconds and 2 thirds from 20 Chase starts. He is class and distance winner. Maguire got 3 wins, 2 seconds and 2 thirds with Bob. Today's race will be Bob's first start here at Haydock. His trainer Kim Bailey is in top form. According to RP, 86% of her stable runners have run to form in last 14 days. Bailey got 1 win from 3 chase starts in last 5 seasons at this course. Bailey-Maguire combo shows 23% SR (28-124) with chasers in last 5 seasons. Buffalo Bob will be in the field tongue-tied and also cheek-pieces fitted as he behaved positively with a win at Chepstow, 28 days ago.
Current SP is 9/1 with Ladbrokes & William Hill. Worth a shot!!! |

Kempton (AW) 2.05
Nazreef @ 14/1 EW
Nazreef comes from the in-form Hughie Morrison's yard. He has 60% SR (6-10) on AW. He is 1 time course winner also a class 2 winner. He ran here 4 starts, 3 at 7f and 1 at 11f. His latest start here 7 days ago at 11f proved his ideal distance is between 8f-10f. He had even outclassed some of the runners in today's race by winning the Lincoln Trail Handicap at Wolves in early March' 12. His trainer got 16% SR (7-43) with his 4YO+ runners in the last 5 seasons at this course. According to RP, 83% of his stable runners have run to form in the last 14 days. Darryll 'Dazzler' Holland will be in the saddle for the third time. He got 1 win from 2 starts with Nazreef. Darryll-Hughie combo shows 19% SR (4-21) with 4YO+ runners @ LSP +10.50 in the last 5 seasons. Nazreef, 5yo, will be in the field tongue-tied as usual and in addition visor is also fitted for the first time. He'll be starting from stall 11 and the draw doesn't seem to be problem as he won last time at Wolves starting from stall 10. |
