Too early mate, odds for the big chases will start to appear soon though
PaddyPower do have prices for the Aintree Hurdle but not on all the runners, just about 8 or so |

Although I may have a small punt from day to day, I am taken to have a few serious punts on a small number of horses and one such horse I took a hit on was at this years Cheltenham Festival, with my one and only bet for the festival Darlan. I backed Darlan to win and took 5/1 seeing these odds as very generous. As you know it finished second at 7/1 but should with a better ride, have won that race and I don't make that statement lightly given that it was ridden by A P MCoy. I didn't even back it e/way tut!
I should given this horses price and my next serious bet for the Grand National. I should be backing this horse e/way as the price for it is varying now at 33/1 with bet SkyBet and 28/1 with bet365. I should back it e/way but am instead going to back this to win. I will be backing this up with a cover bet on Sunnyhill Boy currently at 16/1. I have had many National Winners but something about these two runners suggested to me when I watched them, that the both had something of a Lord Guillaine run about them prior to that horses appearance in the National that nearly never was. Good luck all with your selections but I think the afore mentioned has the credentials to win this years National, roll on Aintree I need a holiday! |

Interesting to see the Ex Alan King trained MY WAY DE SOLZEN entered for the Foxhunters @ Aintree
He made his first appearance for 2 years last month when winning over 2m 3f @ Hereford.
He made all and won by 9 Lengths
Even at the age of 12 he still looks like he could hold his own against decent animals, never mind Hunters.
Be interesting to see what price he is when the betting opens |

Entries now coming out for the Thursday at Aintree. It is usually a cracking days racing and the course is nowhere near as busy as Ladies Day on the Friday or the day of the National itself.
Big Bucks is entered in the Liverpool Hurdle and Riverside Theatre in the Betfred Bowl. Tasty stuff. |

I like the look of some of the Cheltenham "failures" including Donald McCain's Cloudy Lane in the Hunter Chase on the Thursday.
If Cloudy Lane misses Aintree he may go for the Scottish National on a track that may suit better where he has good previous form.
However i expect the trainer feels Aintree is worth a chance and we may get a big price after the "failure" at Cheltenham _________________ OLBG Community Manager. |

Paul Webber has declared Time For Rupert for the Liverpool Hurdle on Thursday.
His last Hurdles run saw him finish 2nd to Big Buck's @ Cheltenham in the 2010 World Hurdle, the handicapper was impressed enough to put him up from 159 to 166 after that run.
Big Buck's won that race by just over 3 Lengths
12/1 is a great price to be backing him ew, although he is also declared to run in the Bowl on the same card |
