Hi F1 Fans
OLBG have kindly allowed me to run a Challenge on the whole season of Formula 1 in 2012, they have also be kind enough to offer prizes, in total they will give away £125 towards this challenge.
The Format is very simple, all you have to do is answer 6 simple questions for each weekend of the season, the first 3 questions will be about qualifying and the other 3 questions will be about the race itself, you gain or lose points depending on your answers, there will also be a tie breaker in case of a tie.
The person with the most points each week will be the winner and will win £5, but that's not all, we will be running a Driver's Title and the top 10 finishers in each race will pick up points, just like the real Grand Prix and these will be added up during the season and at the end of the season the Driver with the most points will be Champion and win £10, the runner up will win £5.
Also, as an extra Bonus, we will also have a Constructor's Championship, just like the real thing, every person who enters the challenge will be put into a team (2 drivers per team), each drivers points for will be added to the the teams total and at the end of the season the Team with the most points will win £10 (£5 for each driver), don't forget to keep in touch with your team mate as you are both important to each other in this competition.
In order to qualify for the end of season Constructors prize, a driver must compete in at least 50% of the seasons races.
If a driver does not compete in 50% of the races and the team wins the constructors prize then the other driver will win the whole prize.
If neither driver qualifies then the 2nd placed team will win the prize
There will be a cut off point for every race, but the cut off point for the first race will be slightly earlier so i can sort out the teams, we will use all 12 team names for this season, if we have more than 24 drivers then we will also have "B" Teams, the "B" teams will be seperate from the proper teams, each team will only have 2 drivers in it, if we have an odd number of entrants then unfortunately that driver will be in a team on his/her own.
The 6 questions will be the same questions every weekend but the Driver's /Teams will differ, the Tie Break Question will also stay the same for each weekend.
There are 20 races in the 2012 season and they are as follows -

All of the results for every race and update placings will be kept on this thread, but each race will have it's own individual thread.
The 6 Questions & Tie Breaker i will ask for every race are -
Qualifying Questions 1 - Where will ----------------------------- Qualify = 5 points for correct position, 3 points if 1 place out, 1 point for 2 places out, 1 point deducted for every place out.
(example -if you say 5th and he qualify's in 8th you will be deducted 3 points) - If the Driver qualifies in 3rd place but gets a penalty and starts in a different position, he will have deemed to have qualified 3rd 2 - How many places will separate -------------- & ---------------- on the grid = 5 points for correct gap, 3 point if 1 place out, 1 point for 2 places out, 1 point deducted for every other place.
(example - if you say 5 and the gap is 2 you will be deducted 3 points)
3 - Who will be the fastest qualifier = 5 points for Pole, 3 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd, 1 point deducted for each place outside the top 3.
(example - If they qualify 6th you will be deducted 3 points)
Race Questions 4 - Which team will have both it's drivers across the line first = 5 points for 1st, 3 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd, 1 point deducted for each other place.
(if a driver does not finish the race, he will be classed as finishing 1 place behind the last finisher, if 15 finish then he will be classed as 16th)
5 - Where will ------------------ finish in the race = 5 points for correct place, 3 points for 1 place out, 1 point for 2 places out, 1 point deducted for each other place out.
(example - if you say 4th and he finishes 12th then you will be deducted 8 points)
6 - How many places will separate -------------- & -------------- in the race = 5 points for correct, 3 points for 1 place out, 1 point for 2 places out, 1 point deducted for every other place out.
(example - if you say 2 and they are 10 places apart you will be deducted 8 points)(if a driver does not finish the race, he will be classed as finishing 1 place behind the last finisher, if 15 finish then he will be classed as 16th)
Tie Breaker (In the event of a tie)
Which lap will have the fastest Lap
No Editing at all to be done to your posts, if anybody edits a post they will be classed as a non entrant for that race, if you make a mistake simply re-post and PLEASE only post your answers on the relevant thread for each race, DO NOT post them on here as you will score no points.

After every person has picked their answers for the Aussie Grand Prix they will be drawn into teams, you may get somebody you know or a complete stranger.
