Video hard to find. Nice 6.5 but no highs and lows. Needs a more dramatic first minute - too one pace.

Not bad, not bad at all from Germany again. instant rection score 8/10 (will reveiw score agin later). May be the best so far. Right looks, good english and very nice sound. Now this could be a top 10 song at last. Smile

Had to listen to Cyprus again after Germany. My new scores:

Germany 8/10 - possible top 10. Very nice sound. Good looks and sound good english.

Cyprus 8.5/10 possible top 6. Good vibes and sound. Good start. Right looks and feel to song. Will appeal to the younger viewers. Best so far just ahead of Germany. The ESC chart has Norway top (http://www.kolumbus.fi/jarpen/).

germany and denmark are also rans, should do decently but unless everything falls right for them i dont believe they will be good enough to win but both top ten contenders. cyprus is my fave song so far, but cant see it ticking enough boxes to win. norway looking the winner out of the entries released so far but still lots to come so doesnt mean much yet.

turkey was very messy. like some guy from the audience had come up to do some drunken karaoke. not polished enough to win. thought we may get something stronger from them.

Had a chance to relook at Norway again now we have seen Cyprus and Germany.
My revised view:

Norway 9/10 (just). A lot better than i first thought. Good pace, some nice sounds and will appeal to the younger audiance- avery modern look and feel to the song and very very good stage performance (looks good). Good looiking singer with the right sort of street cred. The one to beat so far but may not be the winner. Top six for sure unless we get lots of other good entries.

Turkey was so disappointing - but maybe they dont want to win wth the huge cost of putting on the event.

May place a bet on Norway soon if nothing better turns up but holding off for the moment.

How bad can they get - well tHIS bad for sure - Austria.

So desperate for "street cred" (sems to be a "thing" this year) with young people, its so sad to see 30ish looking guys trying to look like 15 and its sounds so bloody aweful! (some of the sounds sound like an English sware words!!).

No Jedwad are back. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Ireland have picked Jedwad again. Now to be fair to the boys who cant sing they did bloody well last year and this years entry is not too bad at all. All produced in the studio ofcourse to an ESC formula and you can gurantee they will have fantastic video in the background (+ big backing group) to take our view of the singers (their stage performance made the UK look so bad last year).

Well surprsingly its OK 6.5/10 from me, Will review again later.

Its not the winner but the boys will appeal to some young viewers as they did last year and i think this is better than last year - a plesant but forgetable sound. Could be a surprise top 10 but not for me. I love their energy (well who wouldnt jump around for all that money) but they cant sing - end off!
