Speaking for the first time since the post-fight brawl, Haye said he left Germany because he believed Chisora's threats were credible. German police were unable to speak to Haye, and had contacted Scotland Yard to help trace his whereabouts.
"I heard Chisora say he planned to 'shoot me dead'. I decided to leave the venue and return to my hotel, a move which I hoped would diffuse the situation. However, Chisora's team were staying at the same hotel as me and, in light of the threats Chisora had made in front of the world's media, it seemed far more appropriate for me and Adam to leave the hotel as quickly as possible.
"Consequently, I left Munich on an earlier flight on Sunday morning and have been thinking about what happened ever since, as well as replaying the incident many times via YouTube. It goes without saying, I am bitterly disappointed to have been a part of what transpired on Saturday evening.
Haye agreed that he will assist the German authorities in their investigations.
"I realise I am no angel - and don't mind a bit of professional trash-talk to help raise boxing's profile - but, during my 21 years in the sport, I have never been involved in, or even witnessed, such a serious fracas. If requested, I shall happily assist the boxing authorities with any investigation they wish to launch and, ultimately, hope that all lessons learned from this incident will be implemented" _________________ Always Trying..... |

inplayking i respect your views and agree with almost everything you say on this forum however calling someone demented could land yourself and this site in a legal dispute.
I myself happen to find Chisora actions poor, the whole pre to after fight from him was disgraceful, but lets face it this is a poor fighter who from no fault of his own was handed this fight because of how poor the heavyweight is.
David Haye - celeb wannabe, anyone else fed up of seeing this guy on tv chat shows? the guy is in it for fame.
His fight against Harrison seriously what was that about? then he loses and blames it on his toe lol.
Dick i mean Derik Chisora = average at best
Haye = overrated _________________ Moden Warefare Pro 11th lvl70 |

Both boxers are a disgrace. And both have been for a long while.
David Haye doesn’t care about this incident not caring if he fights again. As previously said, it’s all about Fame with him. I hope he never appears as a commentator for any UK boxing match again.
Chisora, like Haye, I have never taken an interest in. Mainly because I have found knitting is a more interesting substitute to heavyweight boxing. When a boxer in the heavyweight league grows a pair and goes to actually FIGHT a Klitschko, mainly Wladamir as his chin is much more questionable then I might consider paying to watch a fight.
Disappointed to see Haye getting support from other UK boxers. Almost makes it seem like he has done something for UK boxing. At a tough time for Boxing as well.
Another Sugar Ray Robinson is needed at the moment. What boxing really needs. Unfortunately I think it is becoming a real shame the way boxing is heading. It was once about the fight, the challenge, beating everyone. I wasn’t around for this era unfortunately but Youtube has saved me there. Now it is about the money and little else.
A shame. Shall I put my gloves back on and change the world of boxing LOL. But seriously I hope the big boxing heads Ban Haye indefinitely to end any comeback trash talk. At his age he won’t care. And if Chisora got a ban I wouldn’t be surprised. I think people who bring the world of cycling in to disgrace get 2 years! Sounds good to me. _________________ Liverpool 1 vs 3 Aston Villa - The moment we got Thumped by the worst Aston Villa Team in Living Memory is the Moment I waved goodbye to ALL European Football For 2013/2014. |

| Can't ban them for long. Like Tyson was let back in after becoming a cannibal for a little while |

Liverpool1985, boxing is in a bad place right now but after seeing Lamont Petersons story it shows me not everyone is in it for the money _________________ Moden Warefare Pro 11th lvl70 |
