| I was actually very impressed by Italy against Spain and whilst Croatia looked decent against Ireland, I thought the Irish were very poor. I expected no better than evens on Italy in this match so am quite shocked to see 13/10 freely available. I might have a dabble on unders once I look at the game in more detail but I'm having a decent bet on Italy. |

Italy vs Croatia - ITALY WIN & ITALY -0.25 (AH)
"Croatia played better than i expected in their opener and now they sit top of the group. They were given plenty of room in midfield by Ireland and they created chances quite comfortably. Jelavic is a danger upfront and they do have some good attacking players. Italy however, wont give them as much room in midfield. They will have five accross the middle and will be topugh to score against. Spain got through in the end but De Rossi and co coped well for most of that game and earned a point. That was a good draw against the defending champions and they will be looking to build on that here. "

Croatia v Italy
hoping to make up for yesterdays losses, thanks to Ronaldo forgetting how to score and the dutch not turning up!
if its a given that they are all gonna beat the irish, then Croatia are going to need some points and i would imagine that this game would be their best bet.
so i would expect them to be a bit adventurous, which will make for an exciting match!
im hoping we will see what italy (my tip for the championship:D ) are capable of. bit miffed balotelli is playing again, but with Cassano and Pirlo pulling the strings they can make a real statement of intent in this game!
Italy (-1) @4/1
Italy to win both halves @15/2
Italy to win 4-1 @66/1 and 4-0 @80/1
Cassano to score first @9/1 anytime @7/2 and 2 or more goals @30/1
Balotelli to score first @7/1 and anytime @13/5 and 2 or more goals @18/1
Motta to score anytime @8/1 _________________ Never pay for tips, Why would you?.

Having backed Croatia outright I was slightly disappointed in them despite the scoreline against Ireland who I believe are pretty poor.
I'm tempted to back Italy for this match as I thought they did well against the Spanish but I'm not a fan of Balotelli and his likely inclusion tempers my enthusiasm.
Croatia have a great record against Italy but I fear they will be stretched by the Italians in this match and the uncertainty of the standings in the group could play against them as there is a possibilty they will play not to lose.
I'm tempted by the 6/4 italy in 90 mins (despite Balotelli) as that looks too big but 4/6 the Italians draw no bet looks the best option. |

| note in this game that croatia love to dominate in the air, and italy are very much undersized and are in fact smallest side in euros. |

Italy - Croatia
The players Squadra Azzurra have achieved over Croats only one victory.
This was to this place very long as many as in 1942.
The Italians then play at home and defeat 4-0 to rivals.
Another duel of the two teams took place over half a century later, when they went to one group in qualifying for Euro 1996.
The Croats defeated Italy in Palermo 2-1 and in Zagreb fell 1-1 draw.
Championships in the event two teams have met only once, as measured at the group stage World Cup in Korea and Japan.
From this encounter came out victorious Croats, who won 2-1.
The last match between these two teams was organized six years ago in Livorno.
That meeting the Italy players also do not remember too well, since they lost 0-2.

Italy Win@2,5(BlueSq)

Hmmm, I have a strong opinion on this one. I think that Italy will be much too good for Croatia, they played with uncharacteristic flair against Spain and Croatia had a couple of lucky goals and were assisted by Ireland having a really bad day at the office.
Ireland did have long spells where they threatened as well in the latter stages of their game, and if Italy bring the same game today as they did against Spain they should run rings around a defence that was sorely threathened by Simon Cox in the last fixture.
Surprised by the drift on Italy, they will want to be getting points from this game with a defensive team to come in the last game and I'm happy with 6/4. _________________ "The problem with the future is that there are more things that could happen than will happen" - Plato (liberally paraphrased)

The Italians have a solid back line and a decent, compact midfield - but who knows where there goals are going to come from with this out of sorts Balotelli up top _________________ brewsty39 |
