With the quarter finals now upon us we have the opportunity of penalty shoot outs.
I will be dutching both teams in each quarter final to qualify through penalties, you can generally get around 5 or 6 for this and with 4 games you would hope that at least 1 of them goes to a shoot out _________________ Follow me on Twitter |

England to win on penalties will be one of them.
I think we might get Germany in SF? Not worked out the draw yet.
Hope we win on the penalties, but hopefully in 90 minutes wil do.
As confident England can do well on penalties, after Chelsea truimph
in the champions league final.
As well we got one best keepers in the world Joe Hart, who can stop them
Do that sometime today, now we made it to the KO. .
Also feel England might go on win the Euros to , as we advoided Spain.
Roy Hodgson doing a great job, So the FA did pick the right person
for the England job after all
Maybe England doing well this time as we unfancied and the pressure is off of us. |

Just had a quick scout at the Player of the Tournament betting and suprised that Steven Gerrard is 25/1!
The skipper, Stevie G has carried us so far, and has set up 3 goals so far. What a grand job, if we get to the final, or even win it I think it will more than likely me down to him, or at least he will play a key part. That's why I think he's good value. _________________ brewsty39 |

| Not a bad shout brewster, I would much rather be on that at 25/1 opposed to England to win the tournament at 9/1. |

Before the tournament started i posted on a thread, possibly this one that i wanted to back no 0-0 draws in the group stages.
I emailed or spoke to 6 bookies asking for a market and none of them would give me a price.
The only thing i could have done was backed each set of 8 games to have over 0.5 goals, but that was only 1/2 for each round of games.
1/2, 1/2 & 1/2 only works out at just under 5/2, so i decided not to do that, in any case i am not sure if after the first 2 sets of bets up i would have had the bottle to roll my winnings on the final set of games.
I was going to do the same bet from the knockout's onwards but again i couldn't get a price.
Amazing how the bookies can give prices for almost anything they want to offer you but ask them for a price on something that you want and they won't help you |

Just got this through from Stan James. Ha ha, punters bashing the bookies, great!!
England and Rooney FGS, Portugal and Ronaldo must have cost them a lot. Germany and Gomez would be good tonight!
Euro 2012 has been a bad tournament for the layers so far with wins for Spain, England and Portugal on recent nights costing bookies millions. StanJames.com are hoping Greece can perform a minor miracle and hold Germany in tonight's second quarter-final.
The firm's Rory Jiwani says, "This is turning out to be a really hard tournament for us. With the exception of Group A, results have pretty much gone for the punters. It's been noted that it's been an exciting competition, and the fact that there has not been one 0-0 so far is a killer for us.
"We would love there to be a first goalless draw tonight with all the money for Germany. Joachim Loew's men are 1/3 to win and they are proving popular in singles and accumulators. Greece are 10/1 with the draw available at 17/4. Germany are 1/7 to progress with Greece 11/2 to reach the last four.
"As for every game in Euro 2012, we're top price all first and last goalscorers with Mario Gomez 10/3 to score first. Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo have already made us suffer this week so we're hoping the German striker is off-target tonight." |
