New day, and hopefully better returns. I hate to be in red tbh.
Btw...Paddy Power are doing Drogba FGS today @ 12/1 special price. I have put it up in the BoTD sub-forum, but thought I'd give heads up here as it seems to be a value bet to me. _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

I tipped up Norcroft and Kyllachy Storm last week and they are both in the same race today. I backed Kyllachy Storm this morning got 8/1 now it's gone out to 10/1 i've done a bit of E/w Dutching. _________________ Never pay for tips, Why would you?.

Quite decent day for me so far. A couple of Kirsty (jockey) bets came in, and so did short priced lays.
Most interestingly of all, a horse called Unlimited won at 4:40, which I got @ 16/1, but went off at 5/1 in the end. So good recovery, but don't think it will be enough to cover a few days' losses. _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

had another OK day yesterday - made a bit of a profit with a 6/1 shot coming in. Had lots of 4/1, 7/2 coming in second which had i not back Each Way would have left a hefty loss. The 6/1 win and a 3/1 win offset the slight losses I made on those ones.
Hoping for a good day today. Chester has been a lucky course for me in the past, so hoping for more of the same today. Going for:
Shes A Shaw Thing (Aspen Darlin e/w)
Sugar Mint (Sail e/w)
Highland Legacy (Sentry Duty e/w)
King Orchisios
Maraased

Hi guys and girls, first post on olbg. I'm glad to be apart of 3 legged donkeys. Thanks to martin for my welcome message. I'm off racing tomorrow at newmarket for my 21st birthday. hopefully bag a few winners. At newmarket i find following either jimmy fortune or phillip robinson pays quite well. Also the trainers which those two ride for gosden/jarvis also do well. What do you all think? Has anyone got any tips for tomorrow? I fancy a few. UNNEFER 2.20, STIMULATION 2.50, PROHIBIT or ANCIEN REGIME 3.20, GLORIOUS GIFT(NAP) 4.35, ALMOUTEZAH (2.3MILLION purchase) 5.10 and lastly IRISH QUEST 5.45.
Heres to a good 21st!!!

Hey dnash,
First of all, good luck with tomorrows racing and happy 21st. Enjoy it to the fullest
I havent been looking at races recently, but have some time today. Anyways, I tried running some stuff through this system today, and came up with following:
| Quote: |
Tracks
Newmarket
Jockeys
Fortune, Jimmy Robinson, Philip
Trainers
Gosden, J H M Jarvis, M A
|
Qualifiers Winners SP Points Strike Rate
355...........53....... -10.88....... 14.93%
As you can see, the SR is not too great, but this combo is decent enough.
I would suggest just sticking with Jimmy Fortune.
Qualifiers Winners SP Points Strike Rate
145..........37..........81.12........25.52%
The performance in this case been ok recently, with 5 wins in 14 for 2008, with LSP of +32.
Good luck! _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

well done everyone - really appreciate everyone's efforts and particularly to DNASH! excellent stuff mate and what a profit!!!
Desertorkid (my other half!) did rather well too - proud of the effort there
thanks everyone for taking part and maybe, now that we've found our feet, we can trouble the top of the leaderboard this time round.
I personally am going to be a bit more circumspect this month with my tipping and hope i can drag myself out of the gambling gutter that my May selections seemed to have been pulled from....
thanks again everyone. _________________ TEAM:
