I know it's early days, but one of my favourite things to do is place a few early UK League Winner accumulators (E/W) So who do you think stand a good chance of winning the top 5 divisions of the football league? At the moment I like the look of:

Prem: Man Utd 2.75 (A strongish team. Confident. A couple of players will sort them out)

Champ: Southampton 17 (Tails are up. Confidence and finance to shoot them up the league. Long shot, but I think they will surprise a few)

L1: Charlton 15 (A good spine of a team. They will build and finish what they started this season)

L2: Plymouth 17 (They have battling players who can grind out the results they need in this division. Better players than most)

BSP: Luton 3.75 (Best team in the league imo)

Odds from bet365

Any thoughts?

My choices were influenced by looking at slightly longer odds for E/W and that might be surprise packages. If I were to go for outright winners at the moment then it would be slightly different:

Prem: Man. U
Champ: Burnley
L1: Wednesday
L2: Shrews
BSP: Luton

Hey Mogwai

I would be careful with plymouth, they have released a lot of players already, so at the moment have a very small squad. As i understand their financial situation isn't great? So they may struggle to get players in. Oxford and Crawley have both bought in a fair few players with quality so far, so appear to be financially backed. They both may be good shouts for challenging for promotion.

It's early days though, i prefer to see who's bought in who by the start of the season before making any conclusions. Good luck with the bets Win

Cant really go past Man U for the premiership. Outstanding team.
West ham for the championship e/w, I usually leave league 1 and 2 till about 2/3 weeks before kick off.
My E/w canadian this season was unlucky (man u, N-Forrest, Peterborough, Wycome and Barca for champ league).

I agree with jj4eva. It's too early to tell, lots of deals yet to be done. Yes

Bristol City have already had a bid for Yannick Bolasie from Plymouth accepted, so keep an eye on that as I think there may be more to come.

Have to agree with Charlton for L1...Especially at those odds still representing good e/w value

Fleetwood are the big spenders in the BSBP this season, so I think they might be worth a shot (maybe at just promotion, instead of winning the league).

I think Luton have had their parachute payments cut this year and a few of their players are linked with other teams, so whilst I think they will finish high, I really don't think they'll win the title.

I agree with Dancake for Fleetwood and also agree that Plymouth may struggle a little next season. If I were to predict a team I would go for Leicester. I can see them going up next season

I think Leicester will certainly be up there, also it wouldn't surprise me if Crawley went up again.

I've already backed backed Fleetwood in the BSP as well as a cheeky e/w punt on Newport.

Newport's coach Anthony Hudson did well when he took over from Dean Holdsworth and our Harry reckons the lad could be a little 'Mourinho' in the making. It's a club on the upward curve in much the same way as AFC Wimbledon so odds of 16/1 look a nice bet.

I got Liverpool @ 16/1 in the Premier League (not as good as the 25/1!) but still a nice trading opportunity and Crawley look at strong bet in League 2, despite single figure odds in the winners market. On my Index they are by far the strongest side in that division by a clear margin and continue to strengthen the squad.

There's some 4.1 on BF for Chelsea to win the Premiership next season. I think that's a great price, for trading if nothing else. Almost every season the two top sides jostle it out to be the market leader, Chelsea were as low as 1/4 after about ten games in then United stole it from them after a few terrible results. Team-wise Man United have lost some key figures in the dressing room, Scholes and Neville. Okay G-Nev is a shockingly bad player, but I'm sure he still played a big part in the dressing room G-ing up the players, and I'm sure the players definatelyt loved playing the Scholesy to. I do fancy Hernandez to score a few this year, but fancy Torres to score more. This could be vital this year for Chelseas success and theyre worth a bet for me at the prices.

I also think Leicester look very likely to do well. They've got the players and the cash to succeed. Not that that guarantees success as we all know.

I will have an eye on Leeds. Be interesting to see the comings and goings there. I think 20/1 is generous.

As a Forest fan I don't fancy our chances. I think scraping a play-off place is the best we can hope for. We've had some really good players come in over the last couple of years and I feel they might move on soon as we've not managed to go that last step into the Premiership. So the odds would have to be much longer than they are to even get a sniff of an e/w bet from me.
