ROSENBORG v STABAEK
There's nothing that really stands out on the footballing front this evening though did feel this game was potentially interesting. Stabaek did the double over Rosenborg last season, winning 2-1 on each occasion though they've started the new season this time around very poorly. They have lost five of there opening six games, managing one draw and losing all three of there away games. They've conceded a total of fourteen goals this season, ten of them on there travels and managing to score just two.
Rosenborg have scored six goals in there opening three home games, averaging two per game. They've conceded just the one goal in those three games. There home form could well prove to be the difference between winning or not winning Tippeligaen this season and they will see this match as a certain three pointer. Based on the current statistics in this seasons early form, this game as to be seen as a home win and a comfortable one at that. It's the ideal match for Rosenborg to bolster there goal difference at an early stage of the contest, and i feel they'll grab it with both hands!!

Kalmar - GAIS
Not loads of info but:
Kalmar's 3 home games to date this season - 2 have finished over 2.5, 1 of which they won (3-1 - Hacken)
GAIS' 3 away games to date - 2 have finished over 2.5, both of which they lost (1-2 - Atvidabergs, Elfsborg)
H2H history @ Kalmar shows 7 previous meetings (since '01) - all of which have finished over 2.5, Kalmar winning 4 of these, including 3 of the last 4 (since '08).
Whilst none of these teams have got going in the league so far, Kalmar seem to hold GAIS on their own turf quite well and both teams can score/concede so, despite limited seasonal info (most reliable) looks like maybe a tad of value in the selection.

Lokomotiva Zagreb v Lucko
"I think Lucko are over priced here and could cause another shock like last away game when beating second placed Hajduk Split who have tremendous home form Lucko sit low in the table but are not bad away and draw many but feel confidence will be high and can snatch this Lokomotiva are mid table and good at home but really struggled to beat second from bottom Karlovac last game 2-1 and needed two late goals so win it Lucko are in good form and come here six games unbeaten and should not be this big "
Lucko Win 15/2
Lokomotiva are odds in but do not fancy them despite good home form but recent form favours Lucko are are playing the better stuff right now I think Lucko to score in both halves is massive and can do it again like they did to second placed. Hajduk Split who are much better then they face today and confidence will he sky high after that impressive 2-1 win Lucko are doing better as the season goes on because they need results and are fighting for there lives and need to give it there all Lokomotiva have ben conceding first half goals of late at home so if Lucko start well who knows what could happen"

Almost coming up to the 70 minute mark and Rosenborg are still held 0-0 by Stabaek. Slightly disappointing really considering how the season as gone for each of them so far.
Newcastle left me red faced the other night, with two sublime goals that you can't do much about. Anyway, I am having similar thoughts about tonight's game from a betting perspective, albeit with less risk attached at the price. I am looking at Birmingham's away record against the top 12 teams (11 teams since they're obviously in the top 12 themselves):
Played 11
Lost 7
Drawn 4
Won 0
Now on the stats, Birmingham should surely not be 3.3 to win the match. They also drew or lost another 5 away games against the bottom half of the league, adding substance to the fact that they have not travelled well this season. Blackpool have lost two games against the other top 11 sides they have played this season, which is relatively solid home form; losing to West Ham 1-4 (probably the best side away from home on their day, as demonstrated last night) and 0-1 to Derby, so a tight affair there.
Lay BIRMINGHAM @ 3.2 looks a very solid bet on all know statistics this season. This game can always bite you and deliver a blow that goes against logic, but this looks one of the bets of the season and I wonder how many Brum fans will be lumping on them to win...and do the bookies want them too!

Blackpool - Birmingham
On Friday evening at Bloomfield Road semi-final competition in the playoffs begin in The Championship teams Blackpool and Birmingham City.
In the regular season the teams shared the difference just one point, and both games can end successful.
The hosts have not lost seven consecutive matches, winning four of them.
However, it is noteworthy that before the duel with the Lions, Mandarin has lost just one goal in six games.
Guests, in turn have scored nine consecutive matches without defeat, but only four of them ended their victories.
Only in the last round duel with Reading (2-0) managed to keep a clean sheet.
Prior to losing at least one goal in nine consecutive games.
In the regular season impressed in defense of the matches in their area, where they gave each scored only 14 goals ,but they lost on away more goals - 37
This was the sixth worst score in the league.
In favor of the Blues suggests that it is not lost to Blackpool four matches in a row.
This season, they won 3-0 at home and at Bloomfield Road tied 2-2.
Just been looking at the stats for Blackpool vs. Birmingham and found something quite interesting. Birmingham play well in the first half away from home with a 10,9,4 record but have given away a lot of points finishing with a 7,7,9 record at the end on their games. The opposite is true of Blackpool who have a 6,13,4 home record at half time and a 13,7,3 home record at the end of games. I can remember Birmingham playing a good first half against west ham before throwing it away, while I can also remember Blackpool scoring numerous late goals. Indeed in the corresponding league fixture Blackpool came from behind to lead 2-1 before Nicola Zigic levelled late on. Thus I reckon the draw/blackpool is a good bet at 9/2 as is Birmingham/blackpool at 25/1, both on PaddyPower. Sorry for the late post, only just spotted the trend. Good luck everyone!
