Thought I'd start this as there's lots of action including 22 domestic matches this Friday as we approach the business end of the season

Scunthorpe United vs. Exeter City

Two sides at opposite ends of the form table meet here. Scunthorpe are unbeaten in 8 games, but 4 of those have been draws. They did however win there last game 4-1 away to Chestefield who are a similar standard to Exeter. They have kept 2 clean sheets in there last 3 and are generally quite solid at the back. Exeter are bottom of the form table and look doomed to relegation. They are without a win in 8 and have lost there last 6 games on the road. However when you look into these away games even more startling stats appear. They have failed to score in 6 of there last 7 away games and 14 of there 20 away games this season. The game at St James' earlier in the season finished 0-0 and I fear this scoreline here so may have a saver on the correct score at 11s. Despite this, I feel that at 9/4 Scunny to win to nil is very good value.

Scunthorpe to Win to Nil - 9/4 - NAP

Barnsley vs. West Ham United

There is major cause for concern in the West Ham camp. They have one win in six and there are calls for Sam Allardyce to be sacked. However, they will be looking to bounce back from last weeks disappointment against a Barnsley side this week who have lost 5 of there last 6. Barnsley struggle against the top sides at oakwell with a record of 2-2-5 against teams in the top half at home. Reading won there 4-0 here a few weeks ago and blackpool and birmingham have also won comfortable there. West Ham have a 5-3-2 record away vs. the bottom half and it is mainly against th big sides they struggle. West Ham have a lot to play for and Barnsley arent going down or getting in the play offs. West Ham should show there quality here.

West Ham - 11/13

Hereford United vs. Plymouth Argyle

Proverbial six pointer at the bottom of league two here. Hereford are propping up the rest of the sides and have lost there last 4 games. They have failed to score in there last three games. They have lost 4 of there nine games against teams in there bottom half and Macclesfield, Crewe, Bristol Rovers and Aldershot have all taken victories from Edgar Street. After looking doomed at the start of the season cash-strapped Plymouth look set to avoid relegation under Carl Fletcher. They are unbeaten in there last 4 and are 6th in the away form table. They have a 4-3-2 record against teams in the bottom half away from home. They have conceded 1 goal in there last 4 games and should be able to get the win here.

Plymouth - 19/10
Plymouth to Win to Nil - 9/2

France Ligue 2

Monaco vs Nantes

Monaco come into this game having won four of their last five games and unbeaten in their last seven league matches. In these seven games they have won five and this includes their last three home games on the spin.

They welcome Nantes who, are 8th in the league, but 31 of their 42 points have come at home. Nine of their eleven victories have been at home and on the road they have the 2nd worst away record on 11 points - just two more than bottom of the league Amiens.

Monaco were bottom of the league not so long ago and I couldn't believe that a club with such history (Champions League just over a decade ago) could be facing the possibility of playing in the 3rd tier of French football. However, they were taken over and the improvment in form is vast for all to see.

Despite still only lying 14th from 20 teams, they are just eleven points from the top three and promotion back to Ligue 1. With eight league games to go it would be unlikely, but still possible, for them to haul themselves back to Ligue 1 and put themselves back where I feel the club belongs.

Strangely, the teams in 2nd and 3rd respectively (Reims and Clermont Foot) have lost eight games and Monaco in a lowly 14th, have only lost nine games. The 13 draws for Monaco have been the achilles heel of the club's progress but wins are flowing more regularly now and despite starting the league with...wait for it...ONE WIN in their opening SIXTEEN GAMES in Ligue 2, they can still salvage their season.

Their last three home games have finished with victories against 12th placed Laval (2-1), 10th placed Guingamp (1-0) and 7th placed Chateauroux (2-1). I feel they should do the same against 8th placed Nantes who have an away record of 2-5-8 F12 A20.

The odds of 11/10 on offer are mouth watering. Monaco are a team on the rise and I would feel that 1.65-1.75 would have been closer to the mark. However, I'm already on and I'm sure this price will be less than evens come kick off.

Monaco 11/10 @ BWin

Swansea Vs. Newcastle

5 out of Swansea's 6 last home league games have ended over 1.5 Goals

6 out of Newcastle's last 6 away league games have ended over 1.5 Goals

Add into the mix, Swansea's entertaining style of play against Newcastle's attacking threat with Ben Arfa and Cisse. In addition, Newcastle's defense is pretty shaky with all the injuries.

Selection: Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.37 [Betfair]

Gone with a 4-team accumulator

Tamworth 6/4 (V Bath City)
West Ham 4/5 (V Barnsley)
Scunthorpe 7/10 (V Exeter)
Cheltenham 8/11 (V Barnet)

Seems like it has a good chance but so do most accumulators!

With Paddy Power is around 8/1 not 100% Sure.

Aldershot are aiming for a club record 7th consecutive home win against port vale & got a decent point at shrewsbury in there last game. 21/20 looks decent value to me and a club record is there to be broken Fingers Crossed

6/4 for a tamworth win Shocked odds on everywhere else. take it thats with Paddy Power Confused

Karabukspor vs Besiktas

Karabukspor have shown a great performance with home games and are the 3rd best team at home with 11 wins 2 draws and 3 lose. Karabukspor are also shown a great performance last 2 games and the last 7-8 games at home with all wins including Big teams such as Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor, so they are fully motivated.

On the Other hand Besiktas have sacked there manager Carlos Carvalhal. Now under the new regime of Tayfur Havutçu and will be facing a tough game today. Tanju Kayhan, Mustafa Pektemek, Ernst, Cenk Gönen and Simao is not in the squad due to a injury. Besiktas have just selected there new chairman, which puts a pressure on the new players to commit even a better performance if they want to stay in the squad this year.

Recommendation: Karabukspor to win or draw double chance @ 7/4

I know this games on saturday but the palermo v juventus game has caught my eye. know juve are going great at the moment but palermo are a decent side at home. Its 8/13 for a juve win. Im thinking of taking them on with a £100 stake. £50 on draw at 13/5 = £80 profit. £50 on palermo win @5/1= £200 profit. Just gna hope juve have an off day. generous odds any suggestions or should i just stay clear of dodgy italian football Confused

Ok, just trying to get some forum help here!

Got a fine yesterday for 400 euro, it's been coming a while but finally landed yesterday! Like a true punter and bluffer when I saw it I thought I should put 50 on an 8 to one shot to fix this!!
I never do this but it's so annoying to have to pay this pointless fine and seen as it is big already, another 50 is bearable. So was thinking instead of putting all my hope in one long shot, I try find three good bets for the weekend each around evens and try that. Hopefully with the help of other posters we could come up with three and in the end everyone, not just me, would have a good 8 to one shot for the weekend.

Ps I realise it's technically 7 to 1!! But if i have 400 in my hand leaving the bookies at the end of it who cares about technicalities!!

Some of the price's today are really good to be had!!!

Colchester v Hartlepool

Hartlepool have only scored 1 goal in 7 game's while colchester have had some good draws against Sheff Utd at home etc and won this fixture at Hartlepool.

EVS Colchester look's a steal

Scunthorpe V Exeter

Scunthorpe are unbeaten in 8 game's while Exeter have lost 7 away game's on the bounce.

Scunthorpe 4/5 another steal

In my opinion these team's should be alot shorter than what they are and i would not be suprised to see them come in,in price.

Win

damorzila you make sense with what you say but is it really worth it lets face it Juventus havent lost this season & come off the back of a 3-0 win over Napoli yes Palermo have a good home record but have lost against Roma,Napoli & AC milan on there own soil this season, i reckon it will be very close i would side more towards a draw in which case is it worth risking £100 to win £80 & even worse if Juve nicked it then your stuffed, i personally would bet in play watch the game for a bit & take it from there or double chance Palermo or draw is 7/5 if your that confident i would put £50 on that it has nearly the same return as your draw & if Juve do nick it then you have only lost half of your original stake, but remember it's your choice & your wallet at the end of the day, good luck.
