Looks like Rudd Van Persie will be heading out of Arsenal in the next couple of months

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18712651

"I've thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract," the Dutchman, at the club since 2004, wrote on his website.

no new contract to be signed by him and he only has 1 year left.

It'll be interesting to see where he ends up. While I love seeing him in the Premiership I think it'd be very sad if he ended up going to Man City.

I could see him fitting in well at Barcelona though he'd be fighting (probably winning) for a place with Villa.

I think the same - that RVP if he does move to another English club it would be City. Barcelona and Real Madrid seem the most likely options although even though the is a class player with a abundance of skill I don't think he would get the regular football he needs and deservers out there.

Anybody watching the Euro U19 Championships tonight - Spain v Portugal?

One of the best youth matches you are ever likely to watch - the technical level of the football is absolutely superb and the sides are really going for it. 2-2 at half-time.

A joy to watch and if you think the senior Spanish side is good you should watch these guys. Spain are going to dominate international football for decades to come.

Breaking news: Marcelo Biesla has quit as manager of Athletic Bilbao after a disagreement with the board.

Can't say it surprises me. He has walked out on many clubs and this won't be the last. Don't expect to see him in England anytime soon though.

Spain v Portugal finished 3-3. Portugal scoring a late penalty to snatch a draw.

England also won 2-1 against Serbia which along with their draw against Croatia in the opening group game means the 3 lions have qualified for next years World U20 Championships in Turkey. Well done boys! Win

Not iconic but a clever move all the same. Much better than some of the guys they were talking too and if gets the money I reckon O'Driscoll could do well. He gets his sides playing football.
