| The numbers are appearances and goals. I think I might leave this one today though as Waterford are also a strong team and are at home. |

Well folks.
Some info for everyone. Firstly I dont bet much on football however it has come to my attention that odds on a certain Brasileirao B game may be a mistake.
Game in question is Ceara v Criciuma where the away team is 7/2 for the win.
Criciuma is top of the league and enjoying a great run in results with what looks like a superior team with some ex man u players. Ceara are 11th and addmitly have done ok in last couple of games. But @ 7/2 top of the league and in great form surley this has to be wrong.
Here is the link to league table.

Would like to here others opinions on this.

Hi Blackrum, I don't really follow Brazilian football so I can't really talk authoritatively about who will win the match, but having checked soccerway I think I can explain the prices. Ceara have played in the Serie A in the last few seasons and they held a very good home record in the top flight and only lost once at home in 2010. While they were relegated last season, Criumca were only promoted the season before last. Indeed last season they finished mid-table in Serie B because of strong home form. Their away record in contrast read 2-6-11. Their only defeat this season was on the road, while they are still not fully tested away from home having only played 3 away games so far. This probably goes to show why Ceara are favourites. Criumca are likely over-achieving, and Ceara's upturn in form (3 wins from 4), coupled with home advantage explains the bookies odds.
From a betting perspective though I agree with you that the value may be in taking Ceara on (hence the shortening odds), and hoping Criumca's good form can continue a little while longer. |

TRowley007 - Thanks for taking the time to look at this. It does make a little more sense now but the value defiantly lies with the away team. Can actually see it being set up for a draw but I've had a small stake on @7/2. Heres hoping |

| followed this on BetVictor at 17/5, 2-0 up at the moment, looking dangerous in attack but lucky to have not conceded, looking like a good find though fingers crossed! |

Humm... crazy game with about 4 red cards at the end!! 2-2 draw. Disapointed to have conceded in the 89th minute and letting a 2-0 lead slip but a draw was a fair result if not lucky to have got the draw as the home team had about 70% possession.
Once they went 2-0 took 5/1 small stakes for a draw to make a small profit.
As I say very disapointed they could not hold out and sorry to those who may have followed. |
