| this thing has about not being able to annouce it until after the end of June because of contractual obligations to do with his Chelsea severence, has it always been known that AVB couldn't take up another post until then when other jobs have come up or is it something that has only been mentioned in relation to this vacancy do you know? |
I have only heard it in relation to this job and it's only part of a rumour. It hasn't been confirmed that he does have this condition as part of the severance deal.
You are right though. Something is not right about this market.
Ralf Rangnick, who was reportedly one of three men on Levy's shortlist with Blanc and AVB, has joined Salzburg as Director of football.
So does anybody know what is going on? _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |

| thanks for the over-round explanation, i understand it now, which is more than can be said for understanding why AVB's odds are even lower now. it seems that deals can be almost completed by representatives of the club and manager before the manager even meets with the club, that is my impression of what seemed to happen with Brendan Rogers and Liverpool. |

Looking more and more like it's going to be AVB. Tottenham have confirmed that Bond and Jordan have left, Bale has signed a year extension to his contract. Vertonghen & Sigurdsson deals still in the balance and Luka looks likely to move to Madrid.
Times are a changin' at the Lane. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |

| Laurent Blanc is now a free agent, the AVB thing just seems to be dragging on to me. |

Let's all hope AVB takes over and does a Chelsea
Bad choice for me, although as a Toon fan i would love to see Spurs struggle, they do have some good players and i think AVB will be a bad choice, like he was at Chelsea
Good luck with whoever ya get, aslong as they struggle with team selection on opening weekend |

Good signing for arsenal this i can see him flopping, look at players he had at chelsea and they couldnt reach top 4,chelsea turned season round after avb left i think hes too inexperienced for a top flight premiership side.
I dont think hes media savy either snapping after awkward questions get thrown his way,the press will be after him pretty soon if results dont go his way.
Ill give him one season tops. |

Agree now we can move on , this went on to long.
Least Norwich post went quickly.
AVB agree 2 could be great news for Arsenal and Chelsea.
Hope Spurs after all this long Saga, give AVB, all the 3 years.
To me i think AVB is way to young to manager, showed with Chelsea.
But wish AVB luck he needs it. |

| i don't think AVB was the best choice personally... not proven in the premier league, not proven in the champions league... might win them a Europa League trophy if they're lucky... |
