I know it's a bit early but some people like to start early for the new season
If you have any thoughts about promotion or Relegation add them here |

Norwich City @ 3/1 for relegation
I will be looking closely at their ins and outs during the summer.
At this moment in time i think they are a cracking price to get relegated, so many teams who get promoted struggle in their 2nd season and unlike Swansea, they don't keep many clean sheets.
Both Swansea & Norwich had exactly the same record, won 12, drew 11 & lost 15.
Swansea scored 44, Norwich 52, but Swansea conceded 51 (Same as Newcastle who finished 5th), Norwich conceded 66, only the bottom 3 conceded more.
Swansea kept 14 clean sheets, Norwich only kept 3
At the moment Norwich can be backed at 3/1 to get relegated, i am not saying it's a certainty but if they don't improve their defence it will put a lot of pressure on their attack, and i would rather take the 3/1 than the odds on for Reading or the Evs for Southampton
Promoted teams have a decent record in the premiership. |

Norwich want be going down.
1: They had a great season finishing 12th.
2: All depends if they keep hold of Paul Lambert, and Grant Holt.
3: Also Norwich might be strength their defence this summer.
Couple defenders maybe center half to.
Mildfied ok, Maybe they can add a striker, and hope that Grant Holt stays.
Reading perhaps, teams win the championship, allways seem to struggle,
like what happened to QPR last season.
Wigan Sure to be one of the favourites to go down to. |

Wigan are always one of the favourites to go down, which is in our favour and yet we always prove people wrong year after year, we aint moving anywhere! _________________ Dataform Rating System

I agree Micko Norwich look a good price.
I take the point they finished 12th this season but in there was as you say the goals conceeded and some pretty poor or at best very average games.
2nd season is always the time to tell if a team will maintain a run in the premiership.
Holt has handed in a transfer request and whilst not a great lead man was good for Norwich.
Wigan could well go this year, I know they survived again and with some great results in the final weeks, some of the team saround them look better placed to survive as in Villa will get a better manager, and QPR will spend.
Martinez could well leave but I think it does not matter, it feels like its one season fight too much. _________________ www.twitter.com/overthefence200

In the last 10 seasons no promoted has been relegated on 2 occasions, 1 promoted team has been relegated on 4 occasions and 2 promoted teams have been relegated on 4 occasions.
In the last 4 seasons only 3 promoted teams have been relegated, suggesting that promoted teams are tending to cope with the premiership better than in previous years. |

West Brom look a decent price @ 5/1 for relegation. They've now lost Hodgson and they are yet to appoint a new man. Ben Foster's loan has now come to an end so they have to find a decent keeper. Can't see the price moving much between now and the start of next season so I have a watching brief on this.
Talking about keepers - Sunderland have just released Craig Gordon after his contract expired. This lad was signed for £9million 4 years ago! I thought at the time they had paid far more for him than what he was worth. _________________ @ KanKeano_OLBG | Twitter |

One thing is for sure I am not going to back Wigan to go down. I said it before and am saying now, they are the new Coventry City of the Premier League. |

| While Paul Lambert is in charge, I wouldn't expect Norwich to go down. If Lambert goes though, get on it! |

I have added Champions to the title.
Looking at the Premiership early market on Betfair it looks like a 2 horse race again with City @ 2.36 and Man Utd @ 3.6, hard to look past these 2 and the forecast could be a good bet again once the market forms.
Can we see anybody else challenging _________________ Follow me on Twitter |
