Well now isn't that a bit cheesy. Feel sorry for anyone who had an outright bet on. Might have to trade out of Marcus right now to stay in the Green on him.
The most annoying thing is I said to the other half it was very strange with the way they did the initial live show. With 4 acts being sent home. But this all seems a bit coincidential now.
Fair play though Simon, I certainly didn't see that coming. Although looking back on it, maybe I should have!

itll certainly alter the future t&c of some bookies, altho i reckon some if not all are probably already covered. the publicity hungry Paddy Power always look to do the right thing even tho their specials are always small percentage to rope the mug punters in anyway. they paid back the £5 they took in bets on frankie to win!
the market always had their suspicions anyway. i covered my back on a few options. took a small punt on amelia coming back at 100/1 a coupla weeks ago. then a bit more at 60/1 this week when the possibility seemed more real. my any other and johnny bets are gone unless theres more drama but im cheering on amelia from now! i think due to the girls group being overloaded with talent this year and the rest being so average they were always angling for a talent top up.

Well that's dull. At this stage they can only really reinstate Amelia Lily to stir things up. Pointless putting the others in as it will just add to the blandness. I would have liked them to bring a USA act over who could probably wipe the floor with our lot - that Ellona girl out of Intensity would have been tremendous.
Amelia has still been appearing in the win market on Betfair during the series - trading at 500s or thereabouts. Damn. |
