you've forgotten Chris Gayle at Sydney Thunder.

When Warner heads off to play in the test matches v India next week it will be vital Gayle starts scoring.

Thunder did seem a bit weak batting wise in that game at least without warner and gayle

i dont know how you think perth is storngest on paper? gibbs hasnt done it on circuit for few years now hes got it all to prove, while iv never been totally sold on north and collingwood has no batting form in 2011, marsh should be ahead of him. Perths bowling gave them chaseable total they made terrible go of.

Hobart Hurricanes v Sydney sixers

Both teams one their first games though neither team are particularly highly rated in the tournament.

Not sure weather Ponting will be playing as he may have now headed off to prepare for the boxing day test.

Not sure on the call here, Hobart but i've got a few sub market bets:

Sydney Sixers highest first 6 overs @ 1.95 cricketbetlive - 1.91 Ladbrokes

Jacques isn't the quickest of starters and if he plays neither is Ponting while the Sixers with Haddin and Lumb started very quickly in the first game with Haddin showing much improved form from his recent international performances.

Sixers to score most 6's @ 2.1 (most places)

Hobart only hit 2 in their last game while Sixers hit 5, all be it all from Haddin. Overall I think sixers have more players likely to play the big shot than Hobbart.

Smith over 39.5 performance points @ 1.9 (cricketbetlive)

though he's gone up considerably from his minor 30 points last time he's always got a good chance of picking up a wicket in these games, though no t the greatest bowler players often try to take him on. He's also great in the field and can pick up plenty of catches. to add to that he bats pretty high up the order, coming in at 4 in the last game.
