This thread is for any chatter between games you may have and thoughts on overall tournament markets.

I'm fancying unders in any game at the moment wondering if the bookies will smart on the run line quickly. Clearly these pitches are tough to score on and anything over 140 is a good score.

I've just taken under 223.5 top team score on will hills at 4/6 which looks an absaloute steal unless India go berserk against Afghanistan and I can't see them scoring that much on these pitches even against the minnows.

Bearing in mind there is also only a 50/50 chance they'll bat first anyway it looks like an excellent bet.

concur with that fairfranco, think we did this bet at last 20/20 world cup and it came off line may have been slightly higher. You'll also find the fielding is that bit more competitive in this with national pride on line so those 2's dont come so easy.
Might be interesting as afghans dont look bad at bowlingand cud restrict india id prob take under 150 or higher in that match.

Yep the unders was a good bet in the last one as (IIRC) only 1 or 2 20/20 scores had ever been higher in England.

Have laid India @1.04 for this with the hope the Afghan's can get a wicket or 2 early on or get off to a flyer..

Fancy a little gloat! Win

Sensing Afghanistan wouldn't score a lot in the game tonight against South Africa I backed all of the bottom 3 tail enders considering they have as much chance as any of them.

Looks like an excellent display from Ashraf scoring 23 from 25 with 2 6's is going to do it for me.

25/1 bet! Win

Also got a nice little win backing 10-13 6's with Afghans needing to score 3 to make it at 4/1. Double thanks to Ashraf!

SUPER DUPER 8 TIME!

6 days in and the dross has been removed, Ireland and Zimbabwe may feel aggrevied by the rain while Bangladesh lacked maturity as ever with their batting while Afghanistan can hold their heads high with some excellent bowling and after being taken like lambs to the slaughter at their start of their innings against South Africa they came back to get a more respectable score and wont' feel any humiliation at their efforts against 2 of the best teams ni the world.

So here's the groups:

Group E

Pakistan
New Zealand
South Africa
England

Group F

Sri Lanka
Australia
India
West Indies

Some very hard to call games coming up. In group E New Zealand have looked in good form while the other 3 sides have all been a bit hit and miss and capable of collapse, Morgan holding England together twice while South Africa lost wickets far too easily and frequently against Afghanistan and Pakistan were made to look poor against Australia.

In Group F Sri Lanka have relied heavily on captain Jayawardene and definately look beatable to me even if they do have a good quality bowling ilne up.

West Indies don't look good enought to me either which leaves Australia and India both capable of combusting themselves but i think they have the ability and temperament to come through Group F ahead of the other two.

This Barbados pitch is turning into a 6 parad!se

I can't even keep up with the 6 count on this irst game today and it seems it's much easier to clear the short boundries than to hit a 4 on the pretty slow outfield.

with the final being at this ground I really fancy Australia or South Africa who play the pitch here brilliantly with the pitch being great for their pace bowlers and their batsman can play it.

If it's between the two it'll really be an interesting match.

The semi's being at St Lucia might make things a bit different.
