Another reasonable turnout of 13 players again, many thanks OLBG Poker crew
I managed to grab another OLBG Poker title last night, in what was a fairly quick and decisive 3 way and heads up, I seemed to get the luck when I needed it the most, but they always say, you make your own luck in this game.
Well played to Ringo and Quasi for battling performances and getting into the money, plus adding to your Leaderboard points tally. Some solid poker from the both of you as has become the standard when we see you at the business end of these tournies.

| craiggovey the poker software currently used by those companies is the same so probably you cannot run both at the same time. |

I've never tried Craig, but I doubt that either bookie would recommend it. That's not to say it can't be done though. My suggestion would be to try using another computer, if you have a friend that does'nt mind you trying it out. At least this way, you know it most likely can/can't be done.
Any OLBG players that use this combo? If anyone can confirm this problem or recommend a solution, I too would be interested to know about this matter. Good luck in getting it sorted Craig matey
Sorry to hear about your problems Deano, I was actually going to suggest you leave the poker indefinitely. I love having you play, but there are far more serious issues that I feel need resolving before you ever consider gambling again. Good luck in getting yourself sorted out, I will PM you over the weekend regarding this. _________________ Click here to join the OLBG Poker crew - friendly players, excellent banter, share your tips every Monday and Thursday at 8:35pm |

| Just to add to that I could play at both sites - just not at the same time which is the problem I think that craiggovey is having. Correct me if I'm wrong! |

i tried to use both poker sites before and i couldn't get onto the Bet365 site so i think you can only play at one site, but i'm not sure if its just my computer. i will stick to Ladbrokes i think so i can play with the OLBG players and make my move up the leaderboard. i have now also regestered at party poker so i wont worrie about Bet365. thanks for the info woody and krider |

Realise this should probably be in the "online poker" thread and not the poker nights one but its a reply to a previous question.
I use a variety of different poker sites with the main reason being the variety of tournaments, freerolls, big money ones etc.
Would probably recommend keeping an eye on Bet365 poker as they do host several different MTT tournaments to Ladbrokes like their weekly $5000 freeroll (Saturdays at 8pm). I would recommend scouting about the sites maybe once or twice a week because you can definitely find some very good value tournaments. _________________ If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Yeah, I agree with Rik. If MTT's are your thing, then why just limit yourself to a couple of sites? A quick scan of your top 10-20 poker sites can reveal many an enjoyable/profitable MTT. I would never have got to play Ronnie O'Sullivan if I had'nt stumbled across a "Play Ronnie" freeroll. There are also a few celebrity tournaments that we can watch for free, we also sometimes get the ability to chat to the celebrities as they are playing! I can remember cheering on Helen Chamberlain and Barry Hearne to name a few back in 2005.
It cerainly pays to shop around. _________________ Click here to join the OLBG Poker crew - friendly players, excellent banter, share your tips every Monday and Thursday at 8:35pm |
