PLEASE READ BELOW:
THANKS TO OLBG, THE WINNER OF THE MONTHLY LEADERBOARD WILL RECEIVE FREE ENTRY INTO THE BIG MONEY TOURNAMENT ON Ladbrokes POKER, THE BUYIN IS WORTH $100 (€60)!
In order to play the OLBG Poker Nights tournaments, you must first be a registered OLBG member, you are not allowed to join the tournaments until you are a registered member of OLBG. Anyone found to be listed as registered for the current tournament without having registered with OLBG first will be removed from the tournament immediately
Distribution of the password to non OLBG members is not allowed and will effect your ability to join future tournaments.
NEW RULE:
In order to encourage posts and also to maintain our league results without relying on one person to do all the work:
Each game's winner MUST post the result which consist of top three players and the winnings paid out to each. The sooner these results are posted the better, so that I can update the table. Right after the game would be best and you're already online so a couple more minutes isnt too much to ask, but in any case within 48 hours max.
If its going to be a problem, then say so on the night and get the runner up to oblige... If I can teach Poohbear to post them, then anyone can!!!
TO ALL 1ST TIME PLAYERS:
I must demand that you post your Ladbrokes Poker screen name on the latest thread in the OLBG Poker Nights Forum before buying into your first tournament. You will be added to list of heroes after your first game.
I cannot stress this enough. Failure to comply with this reasonable request will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

Start Time: Every MONDAY & THURSDAY, 8:35pm
Game Type: No Limit Texas Holdem
Tournament Type: Multi Table Tournament
Tournament Name: OLBG (Thursday) OR (Monday) Night Poker

Max Players: 200
Buy in: $5 + 50c
Prize Pool: Increases as people join
PRIZE PAYOUT:
First place get 10 league points, second = 8 and third = 6
Cash payouts are determined by how many people enter:
1-30 people = 1st-3rd share money
31-50 people = 1st-5th
51-150 people = 1st-10th
151-200 people = 1st-20th
HOW DO I JOIN?:
To join in you must first have a real money Ladbrokes Poker account. It's very easy to set up:
Just click here - Ladbrokes
Click the "Poker" button and then click on the "Download Now" button
Once Downloaded, double click the "Setup_LadbrokesPoker.exe" file and follow the on screen instructions
The rest is straight forward.
(Have credit/debit card details ready)
You must have the downloaded version, the other doesnt offer private games!
WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT?:
Once logged into Ladbrokes Poker, simply click the "PRIVATE" tab, then select "Multi Table Tournaments" and look for the table named "OLBG (Thursday or Monday) Night Poker", you will need $5.50 to enter.

Of course we can!!! Use this thread to ask any questions relating to our game and one of our friendly heroes will be happy to help!!
I would also encourage all players to post after the match to offer congratulations or discuss a hand etc...

Happy New Year. 
9 turned out for the first game of 2012. And on paper it was another strong event but it took less than an hour for POOH the mighty to carve us all up. I dont know why but it always shocks me to see how easy you seem when you get your nose in ahead. For me definitely one of the best front runners here.
I managed to stay out of trouble long enough to get to heads up. Collecting pocket kings and slow playing them against a "dead board". But when an 8,9 and Q are showing after the river the power of the J10 was shown and POOH took a well deserved win. Awesome performance matey. :x (sob stole my hand)
Barry put in a good performance and showed enough grit out stay Sheddy for 3rd. I wont be shocked to see you towards the top at the end of the year matey.

| Thursday nights game saw 7 players fight it out for the points. Rounder finished 3rd for $7 and showed he's back and better than ever with a great run of results. After a long heads up Burr took 2nd for $10.50 and I was lucky enough to finish 1st for $17.50 Have a great weekend everyone see you all Monday |

Well, I used my golden ticket for the December league win last night...
Played the 6 seater double chance.. 224 runners and a decent 15 minute blind structure...
A slow n steady start saw me accumulate and double up just enough to keep in the average stack territory. As with most MTTs there were 2 or 3 huge stacks that were swallowing everyone else, taking big gambles that paid off enough times to pay off...
Made the bubble and beyond and was sitting in 12th with 21 left... the chipleader and well over 100k and most the rest of us had about 24k..
Our table was getting owned, with the bully going all in most hands or check raising all in on most flops...
I got JJ in mid position and bully was in late position... I wanted to make a stand and start attempting to go for the big prizes, so when it was folded to me, I limped with intention of trapping/pushing his raise...
sure enough he raised big and I rubbed my hands and shoved..
He called..
and showed QQ and hit Q on flop... out in 21st for €78... glad I didnt have aces, but know he could just have easily had 10 10 or big ace or suited connector etc...
no regrets, would prob play it the same way in the same spot again..
Thanks to OLBG for the prize, and its only a matter of time before one of us land top prize

| Thursday nights game saw 8 turn out to celebrate the birth of burrs son and I was unlucky enough to be the villan knocking him out in 4th place. Bonak took 3rd for $8 the ever consistent Quasi finished 2nd for $12 and a good run of cards helped me to 1st place and $20 |
